Which perks could theoretically become base-kit?

I want 1 perk for both sides with reasons given. Mine would be...
Kindred - Just a quality of life perk that would make soloq a little more balanced.
Remember Me - Because No Way Out exists, this perk is useless and should never be brought.

Yeah I really don't like how they just make better versions of old perks for new characters instead of reworking the old ones.

Kindred, but without killer aura reading so the perk kindred still has a purpose
The bonus bp from we're gonna live forever
Lethal pursuer on one randomly chosen survivor OR corrupt intervention on the gen that is closest to the survivors
The bonus bp from BBQ

Actually, because No Way Out exists. Bringing Remember Me can also make the endgame pretty much impossible for the remaining Survivor if Hatch is found.
Remember. It's 60 seconds for No Way Out. And it notifies the Killer that the Survivor is there.
If the Survivor is not the obsession, it's another 16 seconds on top of the 20 seconds it takes to open. That's already 36 seconds. With 24 seconds remaining that the Survivor has to exit out of the exit gates.
And remember. No Way Out NOTIFIES you if the Survivor is near an Exit Gate. Meaning you can chase them around for the remainder of No Way Out's timer as well as the EGC timer, and with Remember Me, I doubt they'd be able to get the gate open and get out at the same time if you spent time chasing them around.
Assuming of course, you don't catch them.
It shouldn't be basekit.

Great argument, until you realize that you shouldn't have to combo perks for them to be effective. No Way Out is 60 seconds and remember is 1/4 of that. Remember me gives no notification and can be countered If the obsession opens the gate. No Way Out doesn't have this counterplay. You're forced to wait out the 60 seconds. Remember Me should be basekit.

"No One Left Behind" and "This is not Happening" for sure, as no one run them anyway.
"Kindred" could be available to solo Q players as basekit. Duo, Trio and Full SWF would need to equip it.
----
"Monstruous Shrine" so people would actually fear getting hooked in the basement
"Deerstalker" from rank 20 to rank 9 killers
----
You cannot make basekit perks that are specific to a character so it's a pretty short list.

Kindred and bond for sure but there’s probs quite a few. I’d rather them not become base kit but with SWF having so many perks for free and therefore avoiding several game mechanics, it’s pretty much needed.

- Any Means Necessary
Very basic perk, not sure why it isn't just a thing survivors can do naturally.
- Overcharge
Again, a very basic perk, not sure why this isn't a thing that happens naturally. Generators in this game are like 40% exposed wires, I imagine if somebody breathed on one the wrong way it'd probably explode.

None.
But a Kindred-lite ability, that instead of showing you the auras of other survivors, showed a directional indicator (like Killer Instinct) when you held a button, would be useful for solos.

Basement is already dangerous though. A trapper or Hag for example can make many basement spots extremely deadly. They're not the only ones though. Hillbilly, Bubba, Huntress and more can have a mean basement game too. Making the basement even more effective for these Killers is wholly unnecessary in my opinion.

Are you in all honesty implying that making MONSTROUS SHRINE, one of the if not the worst perk in the game, basekit would break the balance of the game?
3 -
I'll be litlle extreme here
Kindred/bond and Ruin
But also let me explain, kindred and bond are must have in solo queue to have remotely nice match
Ruin as much as I could get hate for this or call it too op I belive ruin with current gen speed needs to be base kit (coming from a person who plays killer only for challenges)

Not at all. I'm saying that it's an unnecessary change. There are many, MANY more important things that the Devs need to address before adding something as pointless as base-kit Monstrous Shrine. The comment that I had replied to seemed to imply that basement was not a threat to Survivors so Killers needed base-kit Monstrous shrine to counteract this. I was simply showing that many Killers are threatening enough when it comes to playing around the basement and that buffs in this area would be unneeded.

Whispers except it activates after a minute or 2 from the last hit and deactivates during EGC - So games can't be taken hostage by survivors. Or extended too much if they're e.g. both camping hatch.
Kindred except it doesn't show the killers aura just the survivor auras.

Monstrous might aswell not exist with how ######### it is

WGLF and BBQ. For bp obviously lol
Or if were on about actual perks then..
DS, stops tunneling.
Thana (slight number change) to stop people rushing gens injured, in high level people hardly bother healing especially when they have things like DH, DS, Unbreakable, resilience etc.

Quite honestly I have a few:
- Kindred (without killer reveal)
- Decisive Strike (shorter stun time)
- Borrowed Time (survivors with "Endurance" now have no collision)
- Bond (shorter range)
- WGLF (without bonus healing speed)
- BBQ
- PGTW (now 5-10% regression on kick)
- Deerstalker (shorter range)
- Hex: Ruin (by technicality- I just want base regression buffed to tier 2 ruin speeds)
Using these perks would make the effects stronger. For example using DS would make the stun timer go to 5 seconds instead of the, idk, 3 that'd be base. PGTW would make it a 25% regression on kick instead of 5-10%. WGLF would give the 100% bonus healing speed on downed survivors, and Kindred would show the aura of the killer.
Exception would be Borrowed Time- now gives Endurance whenever you're unhooked- and Hex: Ruin- which would actually be nerfed to keep the effects the same with stronger base regression. BBQ just

no agitation because it's already impossible without perks to wiggle free without a series of mistakes by the killer.

Kindred and corrupt are my top picks.
Perks that actually help in the game.
0 -
Survivor - Kindred for avoiding going to unhook when another team mate is going or for knowing if the killer is camping.
Killer - a mini-pop (nerfed version of Pop goes the weasel), 8% of gen regression maybe.
0 -
I feel like Better Together should be base-kit for people who are solo-queueing, especially on indoor maps as it's harder to find generators.
0 -
Kindred and We are gonna live forever
BBQ without the Aura reading and Pop but without the hook requirement with just a 5% damage.

Buckle up. I’m not even joking. It’s just not valuable enough to fill a perk slot IMO but to see how far along someone is recovered with a little added bonus of seeing the killers aura after a pickup is nice to help you get your bearings.

Gen regression on kicked gens at double the speed (same as if it had ruin) and more emotes for survivors to communicate, and able to do some emotes from hook on first stage.
