Is Prove thyself bugged?

So if you have 2 people on a gen with prove thyself the icon appears twice, is this just a visual bug or does it make the gens go faster than its supposed to?

It's a visual bug from the looks of it, it's being looked into.

Its visual I saw a video like a day ago where they tested it in a kyf and it was the same time.

I thought it meant that there was also another person running prove thyself
