Hey everyone,

A few friends and I frequently play KYF, and found so much fun in using random/themed builds we began cataloging them. In time, I ended up writing up a simple website that gives you a range of randomness from preset builds, to themes, to total rolls of the dice for both killers and survivors, and we've been using it to great effect and have had a lot of fun with it. I wanted to share it with you all. Try it out with your friends or in public matches, and let us know if you had fun with it! I'd love to hear about it.

There's three types of generators for each role (survivor and killer); here's what each one does.

  • Preset: Randomly chooses one of over 160 (~80 survivor, ~80 killer) builds me and a friend thought might be fun to try! Survivor builds feature (almost) every perk in the game from the strongest synergies to the most dysfunctional memes (Sorry, Boil Over), while Killers boast at least 3 builds for every killer released to date! (as of 5.1.0)

  • Semi-Random: You choose two aspects of the game you want to focus your build around, and the generator randomly chooses a perk that provides it to any extent. (That means for an aspect like survivor's Aura-Reading, for example: you could get something relatively useful, like Deja Vu or Empathy, or something you might find less useful, such as Left Behind.)

  • Random: This chooses your perks completely randomly.

There are some links at the bottom of the page if you want to check out some other stuff about me, but honestly I'd just love to see you all try out the builds that you get from the site. Don't forget to stay tuned, too! I'll keep eyes open for new chapters and updates down the line, and the potential they'll bring, and add new builds with them to the website. If you try it out, definitely throw a comment in and let me know how it was, it would make my day!
