Empty gun holsters

Why do many Survivors have empty gun holsters?

Would be nice if they weren't empty... 😏

My idea would be a Walking Dead chapter, adding zombies to every game and weapons that only work on Zombies.

Probably the Entity disarms the survivors so they can't do much more than survive

I always say how I wish there could be an ultra rare gun item that's single use (one bullet) that's an aim-to-stun deal. Now that flashbangs exist, it's easier to explain cause they'd basically have the same function. Just an idea that could be neat. Item description could sorta explain away the empty holsters (entity is a toolbag and it takes people's guns and has a sort of gun lost and found box that ends up in bloodwebs or chests)

Ehh, no. As a Killer, it'd be pissed if a Survivor had a gun that could stun me over range in an instant. Like an insta-flashlight I can't avoid.

That's a free rescue from a carry, that 4 survivors can bring into a match, each. No way. Never.

One shot stun might be too much, maybe if you had to land 3 shots to stun or a head shot.

Otherwise, add zombies to every match in a Walking Dead chapter that we can shoot at. Nemesis would benefit from having his own two more zombies than other Killers.

Shooting also creates a notification for the Killer.

Understood, I would worry about guns effecting Killers as well, could be too much.

Thats why I would like to see a zombie focus to weapons.

Sadly, the reason why there are only 2 zombies for Nemi is because the engine can't handle more. He was supposed to have more than 2.

I'm not saying insta stun, that'd be bonkers. There would have to be some wind up time, like a slow aim mechanic, needing to load the gun, etc. Plus needing accuracy like @stikyard said. It's not a whole idea, just something that crosses my mind occasionally. I also really like the noise notification thing too. It could also be cool if it sorta stunned you too, like recovering from recoil or something. More high risk that way.

I'm not sure why the game can't handle more Zombies, maybe now that we have some AI, further development can be worked out.

I've seen the Devs have interest in Walking Dead I.P. Sounds perfect for adding zombies to every match and, some loved Survivors.

More Zombies with tools to counter them sounds like fun to me.

They should rework Buckle Up and call it Boomstick. After picking up a survivor in the dying state Boomstick activates. Pressing the active ability button hides scratch marks for 10 seconds and reveals the killers aura whenever it is used with a one time use after any successful pickup.

Add “faulty” firearms to characters with a holster so when it’s fired it’s like a flash bang tossed on the ground (not aimed at the killer directly like a flashlight) I’m just winging this so yea.. make it a legendary teachable for survivors with any type of holster.

    TL;DR

Or literally add a new item to the game.. on generic survivors it’s held in hand, on licensed characters like Ash he would have his Boomstick holstered.. have it function like flashlights but it doesn’t blind the killer, instead reveals the aura of the killer for X amount of seconds etc etc.

Would be cool if holsters just had a gun but broken like ashes holster having a broken boomstick
