Question about DC punishment
Is there any punishment for DC'ing? After a gigantic break I'm back at the Nintendo Switch since the new Update 5.1 released. So yesterday :^)
I'm now back at rank 8 from 20 and I have to say the DC'ing from other survivors is not really funny. Not my map, killer, first Hook, didn't hit him with flashlight, bagging don't work or whatever. Say goodbye to the entire game or team and push that DC button. Greetings to the "Mega" or all this guy's with "toxic" (don't forget your flashlight on your hook)... I really wonder Is there any punishment? Or do you just close the game or just turn off the router? Really not funny anymore...
Maybe other say there is no DC'ing in my last 10 games. I didn't had this in my last 5 games too but I had this experience now and I have to say, in rank 15 to 20 it was really calm and it was fun to play. DC'ing starts from 12 and 13 and I would like to enjoy the game again. But with players like this, nah...

Yeah, first DC is 5 minutes of Matchmaking block, second is 15 minutes. I think the third time is 30 minutes and the maximum is 72 hours.

DC penalty goes up with each offense, though in my experience, it has to be pretty consecutive for it to do anything. (For example, DC-ing twice within like, a 2 hour time slot will only net you a five minute ban both times from what I've seen, but I might be wrong.)
Pretty much there is a penalty, but it also has a pretty forgiving reset window.
