Is a fully nude killer possible?
I was playing Outlast and in it they have people trying to kill you, but they're also naked which makes it even scarier because of how disturbing it is. They both have the same rating
so it's not like they'd be out of their element. Also my friend works at a game company & she said most companies use already naked models to make designing clothes easier so they wouldn't have to put in effort making nude models.

No, I don't think so. Hag is already showing some nip, but I heavily doubt we would get any actual lower bits. And tbh, I don't really want it either. The closest I think we'll ever get is Spirit with her convenient bandages. Though, if I do remember right, Yui does have a nude model for exactly the reasons mentioned. It was a big thing when the chapter was first released.

According to the wiki, the developers tried this with Spirit but decided against it because they were worried about the public reaction, especially in other countries.

I'm thinking more from a commercial point of view, but with the licences involved in the game would they want their product associated with a nude character? For example, would Capcom or Konami react negatively to having their property in a game with nudity?

Alot of their games have really sexual content, but i don't think a nude skin would be too much. Obviously I'm not their pr manager but i think they should take that chance for a nude skin.

Whenever this kind of question comes up in other games, the answer is always associated with clothing and making it more realistic. I have no idea, tbh. Maybe it's so they can have one model of Yui and just swap out the clothes, instead of making a bunch of different models with different outfits?
Yui is the only character I know of that has a model like that, so maybe they just decided to try it for a character, see how it worked? Then decided 'nah'? Or it's possible they continued this and got better at hiding the models, I don't know.

The 2nd games wasn't banned for the nudity though, but the in game sexual assault iirc.

Actually, it is true to do that, since it helps you with designing clothing, mainly how the clothes would look like on that type of body, this is also true for drawing.
This is specially true for bigger clothes that make harder to see the actual body, such has hoods, since too small it looks weird and cuts the characters head, and too big will make it defy laws of physics.

I draw too, ignore the Ghost Face, that's just a horrendous rough draft at experimenting with a ghilie suit. But, I never once drew things like that.
I'm not saying you're a liar. I find it interesting and I'm curious if this is genuinely true.
I mean, drawing a detailed body that's.... smoothed out you could say has been doing wonders for me, but I have no clue about... that

Well I mean we have Hag and Charlotte who are semi nude. I don't think DBD necessarily needs a fully nude Killer but I guess it would be creepy facing off against one.

Yeah honestly i would much prefer to not be chased by a fully nude teenage girl. Devs are making the right choice by cutting down on large scale nudity.

Nudity is disgusting. I think we need more clothes on killers, not less. Spirit needs a big puffy winter coat on all her bandaged outfits, for starters.
