The Disconnecting Event (PS4)

I love this event so far, but the disconnecting from survivors side are getting way out of hand!
It's literally when they get downed, or about to be hooked (I assume on a event hook). I've even seen it happen right in front of me while this Doc was trying to hook this Claudette.

I haven't played killer for this event yet, but I have been playing solo survivor now. It's almost impossible to even get a win. I've literally experienced more than 5+ disconnects in several games today. It's just ruining the game for everybody! I literally had one game today where 3 people disconnected, and there was still 4 gens left and I just let this Huntress hook me because I literally just wanted my blood points man.

I don't know if other people are having this, but I've been super unlucky as of late (I play on Playstation).

This is why we can't have nice things.

I play on PS4 too and i literally never see anyone DC. I would assume you would be in the "lower ranks" (purple, red) and maybe people dc more around there?

Most survivors know they don't have the time to get all the nectar they can, clear totems, do gens and escape. Most just go for the nectar and suicide as its the most effective way to finish the event requirements. The devs didn't really think the event out too well..

Hopefully it will clear up a bit in the next few days as people fill their vials.. but I suspect there will be at least one survivor every game for the next two weeks focusing on nectar.

Although that is very true, he's talking about DC's and when you DC you dont keep Vial progression. Suiciding is still a problem though.👐

It's not just survivors to be fair. Killers are at it too. And I've seen more people fail to load in and game crashes this weekend than usual.

Also the lag. My god... I'm guessing a lot of survivor mains (who have never really hosted a game before as killer) are trying to get some vials on that side, but don't have the Internet connection to do it.

Seen survivors d/c because of that, and also have a 3 minute video of my Feng "running" around the map while crouched in the generator fixing position.
