It's Hellraiser (CONFIRMED)
SAIRE. These are the only truly confirmed letters, as far as I'm concerned (I don't buy that "rt" has any significance).
Ace is in a cage, the same way Pinhead can't "come out" until the cube's puzzle is solved, like he's "trapped".
The devs had mentioned they'd love to get Pinhead in the game.
I'm betting on Hellraiser. Who's with me?
EDIT: Seven "A" letters were posted when we got that letter. I thought this was just a random curiosity, since, on the Japanese Twitter, they only used 5 characters. However, according to Google Translate, the Japanese transliteration of "Pinhead" (which, you'll note, has seven letters) uses five characters.
EDIT #2: Turns out the "H" was indeed always there, so I removed it.
EDIT #3: The devs released four audio files which, when put into a spectrograph, spell out "HELL". Hellraiser confirmed.
EDIT #4: A teaser was released that literally shows a portion of the film (animated in DbD teaser style, of course).

Still say Springtrap since Ace in a Cage could also mean the same way as William Afton.
Being trapped by metal cage-like Afton is trapped in a suit full of metal.
And Carnival could just be a reference on how Fazbear Frights aka Fnaf 3 was a haunted house attraction in an amusement park/Carnival.

With the new letter we just got (E), it's more likely to be Pinhead (Hellraiser) instead of Springtrap.

I was not a fan of Pinhead neither. I also wasn't a fan of Jason. They both belong in DBD though without a doubt. FNaF/Springtrap does not. I know a lot won't like that but maybe down the road when more icons have been added/confirmed they can't be added for licencing issues. Sure I would rather have Penny/Chucky/Xenomorph/etc but if it's a choice between Pinhead and Springs it obvious who I choose.

Why not? It's an incredibly popular horror game franchise, and the backstory is like the Clown: childish and out of place on the surface, screwed up and evil behind the scenes. If its the community (LGBT issues, furries, toxic community, etc.) those are already in DBD and other games.

So someone made this post reporting a layout change of Dead Dawg that has appeared since last patch, and instead of moving the thread to a proper sub-forum, Mandy simply said they are looking into Dead Dawg and immediately after, Dead Dawg is disabled, with a twitter post containing an image (in those few minutes that Mandy acknowledged the issue and the Twitter post was made, there's no way someone had time to ss dead dawg, photoshop an image, decide to disable Dead Dawg etc.).
The same person provided this link where you can see the infinite, and it starts beautifully facing the salon, where you can clearly see there's no S.

I don't know FNaF. If these two are popular and well-known sentences from the game, then, OK. It could be a possibility.
But I already wasn't fan of the fact it could be "Say It". For me, it's a name. I'm jusy expressing personal opinion tho, only time will tell us what it was!

Ok was not going to bring that up as I personally just don't give a ######### about him supporting this or the other. Not everyone needs to support/feel the same about every sensitive area. IMO even if he came out and said it direct it should not effect the material. Just like the Jeepers Creepers ######### everyone talks about....Did the creeper do the #########? NO, I loved Jeepers and what some ######### did behind the scenes should ruin the material. SO long story short no that's not the reason. The reason is the level of popular/iconic the rest of the licences are just bigger and everyone knows them. Walk down your street and ask your neighbors (not your neighbors kids) and ask them who Springtrap is....Now ask them if they know who Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Chucky, IT, Ghostface, TCM/bubba are and you will see what I am talking about.
