All survivors who DC the moment they load into rpd,
I wish you a very unpleasant evening. Are you honestly that selfish you're going to screw over the team just because of a map you don't like? I get the killer doing it, because it's only them but this is a team game and some of you seem to forget that. I can't stand rpd hardly anymore either as a survivor but I'm not gonna be like, "ew, rpd. Gonna DC and hopefully get into a map I like better." The entitlement...

Eh, I mean, the Killer should also not DC. No "I get the Killer doing it", they are also ruining it for 4 other people.
But in general, I agree. This Community is full of crybabies and they think it is ok to DC, just because they dont like the Map. Instead of just sticking to it and enduring 10-15 minutes on it, they think that they are entitled to DC and ruin it for 4 other players.

That map still causes plenty to crash from performance issues. If my teammate DCs on that map I figure it's less about not liking it as a map and more so it being unplayable for them. If they're going to crash and eat a DC penalty anyway they may as well start that DC timer at the start of the match.

I get you, but at the same time, you cant force people to play against something they dont want to, for whatever reason it is. If you DC, you accept to take a break. You dont need to go deeper into the rabbit hole.

That's why map offerings exist & nobody forced them to begin with, they chose to take the risk of loading into a game with the possibility that RPD might come up.

It depends on the reasoning, but if it's because you just don't like the map, that's unfair on everyone else. I guess it's fine if you're doing it as Killer but it's annoying when someone brings a bonus bloodpoint offering or an old cake offering just for it to go wasted.
That doesn't prove #########, it proves you're just selfish.

All they have to do is play RE2 remake and they'll have a better understanding of the police station layout .
Or google the 1st and 2nd floor maps.

By the way, after a while you will realize that you get much more offerings than you will ever use and stop worrying about it anymore.

It's not me being butthurt. It is what it plainly is: selfishness. Entitlement. You essentially doom the team before giving it any shot of success. Plus, how will you ever learn to navigate the map if you just DC? People need to grow up. The map is there, deal with it. I understand it if it's from crashes but purposely? Yeah you're entitled.

This is understandable. I mean people who purposely press the 'quit game's button as soon they log in.
I haven't had any crashes with it but it's unfortunate so many still are. :/

What I'm trying to say is when the killer DC's, it doesn't have as much of an impact as it does when a survivor DC's, but morally it's still selfish to DC just because it's a map you dislike.
Furthermore, I've been playing the game since 2017 and we all know how annoying the grind is, so when you say "you get much more offerings than you will ever use" I disagree because for the past few days I've been levelling up Cheryl and I've somehow managed to get ONE BPS offering in the entire time I was levelling her.

A Killer-DC has more impact than a Survivor-DC. When a Survivor DCs, the other Survivors can at least have a game and some points (depends on the Killer tho, if they want to play chill or not). If the Killer DCs, the game is over.

You really think I will accept to play a map that I lag on every 2 seconds and gets screen freeze each time someone does any basic action yeah but no it's not us ruining the match for others it's devs because they never really fixed bs that's happening to console players on that map at least not properly so excusme me if I think of my own fun before random strangers from across the world

Oh I'm saying they hit leave game at start because they crash every time they get that map. They start the DC penalty timer by leaving at start of match instead of waiting to crash sometime into the match and get hit with same DC penalty. Sucks for the team, sucks for the person that probably would like to play the match but performance issues there are too much.

Well, to be honest, the last time I played that map, the stuttering was still all over the place. It's only that map that's really having issues on ps4 (outside the freezes that occur when using certain perks and so on).
Only this map does it randomly without even something happening. You load in, start to walk and you stutter really bad already. So, I can't blame people for DC'ing on that map and move on towards a new game. And no, I don't think you're a crybaby or are entitled for leaving that map when it's not working properly. It should still be disabled and the devs should fix that map.

I'm on console too. Last gen, PS4. For the life of me, I don't know what y'all are talking about by the lags and freezes on the consoles. I never get it on the RPD. Never have. Xbox player I assume? Anyway, that falls under the "I understand if it's from crashes" umbrella. I'm talking about people that just hate the map and have no issues on it. I'd be hypocrite if I criticized that considering sometimes I have to DC when playing against Nemesis. He's just unplayable to go against on console and quite frankly, I am not a fan of Nemmy players. Lol

You're lucky because I'm on original ps4 and I get so many freezes on that map. I haven't crashed, thankfully, but with some of the freezes I was nervous I was going to. I'm glad I've only had that map maybe 5 times because when I get it I'm spending more time worried about the performance issues than paying attention to what's happening in the match.

I don't know why this map is tough for both survivor and killer IMO. But I'll say this. To survivors who purposefully DC I hope you stub your Toe later. To survivors who DC with Bad connection. I understand :(

Fair point but I don't see difference between dc and running into killer on purpose to die on hook either way you shortened your team by one person and let me be clear I don't do any of this but I understand why ppl do it because most of times I feel very frustrated after rcpd match

I think that also depends which model you have or idk I'm not sure I heard also from others they don't have these issues and on other hand I heard a lot that does have same problem so it's really a mystery with what's happening with console btw I'm ps4 too

Many of those dc's are likely simple crashes.
The map is terribly optimized and consoles often crash on loading, or just freeze every 2 sec during gameplay. It should've been kept out of rotation still, but that would've caused another PR nightmare.
I won't frown upon dc'ing if motivated by severe technical issues that are bhvr's fault and that make the game objectively unplayable.

Apparently so... I don't get the stuttering. I only get stutters when I play against Nemesis (it's at its worst and that's how I know it's Nemmy before I actually see him), dead hard which I or any other console players I'm sure you know can't use anymore, unhooking whether it's me or my teammates or with Sloppy Butcher. Sometimes just random but it's so rare for it to randomly stutter. It's usually one of the 4 causes listed.

Hmmm... I think I've heard something like that before. Idk what model you have but mine's a slim. It's never overheat like I've heard of some PS4's do and the spikes aren't that terrible unless it's certain perks, killer or actions. But to be fair, before the RE chapter, my game ran smoothly, no issues. The re chapter really f*cked us all good.

The exact same thing goes on with my PS4 when it comes to lagging. It’s only Nemesis, Deadhard, and sometimes unhooking will cause lag.
When I switched to PS4 Pro (Due to cleaning my main console and giving it a break), I constantly crashed.

After Re chapter my ps started overheating when u already mentioned it it literally sounds like it got bronchitis or something and I lag a lot and freeze on rcpd or going against nemesis so idk

I usually say this too until one day I wanted to show my friend the potential infinite loop and finally got a killer that accepted the map offering and didn't DC during loading....
It was a Doc who knew the map all too well. All too well. We got ######### up ngl. We got clapped. ._.

PS4 Pro I've heard always has problems running this game. And the OG PS4 I believe. Kinda glad I have a slim, I don't have the worst of the console issues bless. Still annoying to deal with the lags and freezes though. And going against Nemmy.. well. You already know you're gonna lose. Idk about you but as soon as he whips out his tentacle my screen freezes and I literally have no chance to dodge it. It'll hit me no matter what. :/

Well, people are allowed to DC whenever they want, seems people are forgetting this is a game, people are entitled to DC... the same as if people don't like a game, they are entitled to uninstall it. "Live and let live", if you want to play on RPD go ahead but if someone doesn't want then he's entiled to leave... you nor anyone can't force a person to stay in a match they don't enjoy... Why? Because it's a game, you paid for it and you are the one supposed to enjoy.
"Oh, the killer is camping me, but I'll stay 2 mins straight so my teammates can enjoy the game and leave"... this is a game, if you want go, do it, no one has the right to stop you.
