Serious Question
To give you context, I was playing Michael with the perk that considerably increases Evil Within 3 and one that makes stalking faster, that's it. I didn't run a mori or anything else. I saw the people doing the blooms and was feeling generous so I let them get them while I built up stalk.
What happened next? I saw 2 people doing gens instead of harvesting so I went for them. Apparently that's being tryhard... Once the hatch spawned and there were 2 people left I hooked one and BBQ told me the other person was by the hatch so I caught them while they tried to jump in. Is that really tryhard?
Tell me what you think. This isn't trying to be a survivor hating rant, seeing as my killer is only at 9 for now and my survivor is at 1 so I still do play more survivor. Should I have ignored and blocked this person or was I justified? Was I too mean in my reply?

There's really nothing you can do about the actions of other people. I try to avoid being toxic at all costs (you weren't toxic, but the other person was a bit, wishing harm upon you or others around you). Just ignore them and move on. Being toxic only breeds toxic behavior that eventually spills out onto others who aren't toxic.
Based on your description, you were being fair. You gave everyone time to harvest, and you found survivors that weren't harvesting, so they were playing the game normally. This event merely provides survivors something else to do, but it doesn't change how the game is played. I can't speak for their mentality, but do they expect to escape just because it's an event, and they think the killer will always play nice?
On the other hand, with survivors divebombing the flowers instead of doing gens, it gets to where gens aren't being done at all, so it's hardly bad on them to work on something that will get them blood points.

I get messages like in the image a lot but today I was in a good mood and this guy kind of pissedd me off. I usually don't reply like this but he triggered me. Did I go overboard with my reply? I don't make my messages private because on the rare occasion that I get a Gg or something I like being friendly back. This guy just flustered me.To give you context, I was playing Michael with the perk that considerably increases Evil Within 3 and one that makes stalking faster, that's it.
