BHVR... Just Stop
So this whole Twitter teaser thing going on rn is stupid. In my personal opinion (ik, scary) I think it is the worst way they have ever teased a chapter. Let me explain why I dislike it.
1. It's scattered
There isn't any way of knowing what letters or what symbols go in what order. This could be fun but come out more annoying because it's only once or twice a day we get a new letter. It's such a slow process that all excitement I had has now become irritation because I know I'm gonna have to wait another day before a new letter comes out.
2. It isn't quirky
This isn't fun, or quirky like you really think it is BHVR. Teasing alot of different hyped characters and not releasing any of them is a great way to kill your game. All I'm saying is that it better be a licensed killer or I'm going to be really upset.
3. BHVR clearly doesn't know how to do stuff like this
Look, trying new things is fine I don't want to discourage that, I just want it to be done in a better fashion. Releasing cryptic teasers followed by "CATS AND DOGS COLLECTION LOL GIVE US YOUR WALLET" is a really dumb thing to do.
In conclusion, I am okay that BHVR tried this, all I ask is that they never do it again. Now that most people say springtrap is off the list the whole point of it is just kind of stupid. If it was springtrap being released (I don't really want to talk about fnaf, I'm just giving my thoughts) that would be a great way to do it, since Scott Cawthon used to make teasers like this. They still would've handled it poorly, but it would've been a neat homage. But since it probably isn't, BHVR is now just being annoying, giving us stupid teasers that have no meaning whatsoever. Pls BHVR, just stop this and never do it again.

It's not that I have an issue with confusing teasers, I am a huge fan of the fnaf series and confusing teasers is a big part of what makes those games special to me. The teasers here are just cluttered, and not fun to try to decode, because as I said, we only get them daily, making it super long and tedious.

I am really glad you enjoy it, I'm not trying to say that people can't enjoy it, I just personally dislike it. I enjoy a good puzzle as well, just the way they are doing it annoys me.

"Only daily"? What did you expect? They're not going to spend more time setting up a puzzle for us to solve than they need to. The time gates are so they can actually focus on the game instead of dedicating a small team to coming up with a unique puzzle to be solved. Even if they did so, it'd be solved almost instantaneously, given the hundreds of thousands of players.
As people have said repeatedly, you don't have to keep up with it if you don't want to.

They've done cryptic teasers before revealing chapters multiple times. They start revealing hints that could be anything, people start guessing and it stirs up hype for new chapter with very little effort on BHVRs part. They're actually using their social media in a way to make it worth following, not just posting sales promotions or rare announcements for patches.

Ok that's my bad, I may have not joined in before they did the cryptic messages, that is 100% my wrongdoing. I just wanted to say that I'm not really hyped as much as I am irritated. I want to know who the killer is, but they teased them in the most annoying way possible.

It'd be kinda lame if it was in order. We'd have very solid guesses with only 3 letters. This one's solution was in contention until the E dropped, and even then some were still thinking it was the controversial bunny man.

What's that supposed to mean? In an escape room it's in the moment and the clues are everywhere around you. You have the ability to find what you want, you just need to figure out what's fake and what isn't.
This is like going into an escape room for 10 minutes, then having to wait a day to go in for another 10 minutes.

That is a good point, but it was more of they were being really bad with it. The have normal things being tweeted with teaser things, and they don't mix well. I'm sure there are like hundreds of people who rewatched the cats and dogs collection over and over looking for another letter.

It could've been better if they didn't release the stupid Cats and Dogs collection trailer and other non teaser media. But I feel it would've been alright if the released it in order, so that way the non teaser stuff could contribute to the puzzle, by making people think they may have missed a letter, or something idk, im just annoyed how they handled it.

Agree with the OP. Its fun but a bit of a mess. They even denied the H and then were silly putting RT for retweet. Kinda hard to keep up with it. I prefer the older teasers

Eh idk I don't find it excited or fun as well. Plus its from Twitter, the most boring site in the planet. I would like to see mini events in game maps to tease the next killer. Just like apex legends events when releasing lore or a new killer.

Did you not read the whole thing? I said I would be okay with it daily, but they mix non teasers with teasers and it ruins the fun and is stupid.
