Why is the community at war?
Is there any reason why people are hating on people for wanting Springtrap? Or people hating on people for wanting Pinhead? Calm down lmao. It's not that bad, I personally want Springtrap but i'm not attacking people who wish for another killer. If it's a killer you didn't want then just deal with it and wait for next reveal.
We are literally raising hell over this, maybe this was the devs plan.

I have no issue with Sidney Prescott or Frank West being added either, its just the entitled whiney spammy spoiled brads that keep replying with that request like a bot on every post that BHVR makes on twitter that makes me hate it and never want to see them, you cannot reward that behavior. and the same goes for this sadly.
(though in all honestly im not that passionate about it, I dont care either way, FNAF cannot be added though due to the creator's actions but I digress)

The whole thing's just dumb honestly, people attacking others for liking particular things, it's ridiculous, hypocritical, and quite childish.
For those annoyed by the "spamming" of FNAF threads, they're not that deep, you can just ignore them, they aren't covering up the entire screen. Would you care if that were the case of Candyman or Pinhead?

yes but if every person makes a new thread flooding the forum, heck even multiple ones about the exact same thing, it just becomes spammy nonsense.
Now if BHVR build somthing into the forums that every thread containing Fnaf or Springtrap would just me merged into one, that would already make things better but right now it comes across as...well I mentioned it already, pushy, demanding/expecting that they want, entitled spoiled brats.

It's normally a very vocal minority which makes it seem like a community at war. Often it's either trolling or somebody who has a few issues, but the majority of people don't hold such extreme views. Sure, there will be people who will be thinking: "I hope it's not *insert name*", but even if it is they just shrug it off and might even end up maining the guy due to its power!
Also, forums represent only a small proportion of the overall fan base. You could have everyone here united against a certain killer, but the silent majority would be absolutely content - hence the decision is made.

People are just crushing FNAF people for free, they are making FNAF theories because- they have to ask to make theories, or to hope, or just have their own opinions ?
Each time, on YT, on Twitter, or in the forum, each time I saw someone talking quietly about fnaf things in DbD, it's hate train in mass. They aren't doing anything, but imagining fnaf things for fun, or because they would like it to happen, or anything else, but EACH TIME, there are insults, and they're crushed like they're nothing.
I may want SpringTrap in the game, but I don't care if it's his chapter or not. One day he will be added, or not, that's how it works, but seeing how much people are crushing for free the FNAF community, it's just making me angry, like, why, let them be, for f- sake

Nobody would take it seriously if they'd stop spamming.
FNaF was cool in 2014, sure, but it's fanbase has always been toxic. They aren't doing themselves any favors with this behavior.

Yeah, as I said the kids that did their first steps in the horror genre now have grown, and when you have grown with a game, you love it, and one of its character becomes a strong symbol of the genre.
The fanbase of FNAF aren't kids anymore, and they ask for their idol to be added, what's wrong with that ? Like the fact they are doing things will change your life, why is it necessary to systematically crush them. From the beginning, it's not even a "if they weren't spamming they wouldn't get that treatment", from the beginning they are crushed in the DbD community

It clearly wasn't when BHVR did a whoopsie and confirmed it, but the whole theorycrafting and mystery solving angle's been a big thing in FNAF.
I can't remember the last time they teased something in a piecemeal subtle-hints-in-seemingly-innocuous-pictures way, but that probably lit up a couple neurons something fierce in the fanbase.

I like FNAF and wish that people would respect others for what they enjoy, the same way I respect others for what the enjoy.

I've never had many real life friends, or a friend group for that matter (post elementary school, I've been in high school). I lack social skills and I'm hella socially anxious and VERY insecure, so hearing that really, no, truly means a lot.

I never played FNaF so I don't onow the fanbase too well but I will say that from I've seen the past week the people bashing FNaF have been much more toxic than the people who want springtrap.
FNaF fans don't seem guilty of much besides really liking a thing tbh. I'm kinda just thinking "at least they're not undertale fans".

I'm sorry, but I don't believe anyone over the age of 10 genuinely believes that the best way to engage with someone who thinks you're annoying and is angry that you're annoying them is by doing the things that annoy them in the first place.
Even if the bulk of that fandom was comprised of teens when the first game launched, that was 7 years ago. Now they should be in their early 20s, meaning they're adults. Young adults, but adults nonetheless.
Note that no other franchise - whether people want it or not - gets this much thread spam and denial over it, and people don't get angry about those. That's not a coincidence.
