Anyone been playing the back 4 blood beta?
Thoughts on it? Personally it's lame how there's barely any gore and left 4 dead is just still infinitely more fun

I played the early access last week. I had fun playing it. I kept switching back and forth between campaign and versus. Game itself felt good, I'm on PS4 and the performance felt smooth for me. There's definitely some tweaks they can make to the overall gameplay.
Versus will be rough if they don't have good matchmaking system. It's fun when evenly matched but if you're not it's not a good time. I like that they have you play both sides - especially when I played the ridden and saw that they could see me the entire time setting up before the match.
The bots need a bit more work - I had mine get stuck randomly on walls by doorways or like in the 4th part of act 1 they'd run down into all the zombies to get themselves killed instead of staying with my team up top. Kind of felt like they were trying to get killed instead of being helpful AI and the zombie AI were smarter than the bot AI.
It was super satisfying when I'd hit a zombie with my bat and their head would explode, so disappointing when they'd just collapse with no head explosion.
Planning to hop on and play again this weekend at some point.

It’s okay but not a game I’d pay full price for. Luckily it’s on game pass so I’ll play through it that way

It's a meh know-off of left 4 dead. I mean it's the beta so it could change.

I do have it but I haven't tried it out yet. Been too stuck on DBD. 😂
