Never again
I will never go for the last gen in my life again. If the last gen is left - I'll be near the gates waiting for my teammates to do all the job. At worst we all die, at best I can escape. I'm so tired of getting the killer's attention and then being the only one survivor who dies because teammates just went for the gates and didn't care to save me. I stopped saving people after the last gen long time ago for the same reason, because it never pays off, and now I also have to avoid going for the last gen. Unfortunately there is no other way to survive in soloQ.

With this mindset it's pretty likely everyone will die because you basically "eliminated" a player from the game. As a killer player I support your decision wholeheartedly

Sometimes, we got bad games over bad games... It happens. Play how you want, but don't complain if people play this way as well.

Well, having everyone dead is not so frustrating as being the only one dead.

For me, it's a case by case basis. If my teammates were good during the match, didn't leave me on the hook for too long, did gens and not hide behind rocks, took hits and tried to take aggro, did sabo/pallet/flashlight saves, I don't mind dying for them in endgame.
If they were bad, I'll go pick up the key I found with Plunderers and say sayanora before the last gen is even finished if someone is dead.
