I would like to see a COMPROMISE to this system. Either by a RANKED system that factors in this, or a Non Competitive mode implemented. So if we are streaming DBD, random connection losses don't put a stand-still for us, and players that are Hard-core don't have to lose their games due to folks with bad connections.
As much as we have solid infrastructure in big cities across the United States. The majority of Networks in midwestern united States are running on OLD equipment that Telcom companies REFUSE to properly maintain or run Fiber to homes. Infact there are still homes in my area WITHOUT phone lines and the phone companies REFUSE to run 300' of a phone line to a house! (cant say names here).
Players in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Eastern Colorado, Oklahoma, Northern Texas, Iowa, Utah and Parts of Arizona and New Mexico have these types of issues. And we are STILL waiting for the telcom companies to COMPLY with the new rules we have on the books that each home is to have Phone, Internet or even Fiber to it. 😕

It doesn't matter if it is legal or not (btw, I'm pretty sure redistributing things is the felony you are talking about. Just downloading a pirated version of something is hardly against the law). The situation is the same, and I explained how.

So you still continue with this silly comparison?
Very well.
You said that people complaining about internet connection issues are the same people who justify piracy or in other terms copyright infringement because they cant afford the games. In other words you are comparing people with connection issues with criminals.
Yes downloading and using pirated software is against the law. End of discussion.
Are you really going to tell all of us here that this is an accurate and valid comparison?
Maybe its time for you to acknowledge that your comparison was a mistake.

And median income in my country is vastly lower than in the USA, along with higher prices for electronic goods than in most other countries in the world. Doesn't mean I have the right to demand that every single game run on my computer, regardless of minimum and required specs.
This is not an issue pertaining to DbD, or any game. There's a minimum required to play DbD. That minimum is a combination of hardware, software, and internet connection. If your system does not meet the minimum and you try to force the issue anyway, the resulting problems are yours and yours alone to deal with. Since poor internet connection affects everyone who plays with you, however, the vast majority of multiplayer games have DC penalties.
I don't own a VR set (too expensive and experimental). That doesn't mean I have the right to buy Half-Life: Alyx and then demand Valve create a version that accommodates my below-minimum-specs system. It's on me to solve the issue by either getting a VR set, or not buying the game. Likewise, if your connection does not allow you to play online multiplayer games, it's on you to find a solution - either don't, or get a better connection (if you can).

I'm gonna have to echo other people here who say that if your suffer connections enough that you are continuously disconnecting, then playing actively risks ruining multiple games for teammates. Do so at your own risk.
