The "Go home chat filter, you're drunk" mega thread.
We should start posting the goofy stuff that the chat filter blocks all in one spot.
In this one it blocked "Espanol" and "Nix". What else yah got?

Town was censored in an innocent sentence like "we're the best bartenders in town".
We were having fun on the saloon map.

The word “you” was censored in the phrase “you guys”. 🙃

Was recommending to my team that they use Bond because I was using Open Handed and Bond got censored. Literally one of the perks in the game was censored, lol. I really hope that we'll be able to turn off the filter ourselves someday.

Today I had the word mobile censored, which if you know your curses you know a six letter word being blocked out sounds a million times worse than saying the word mobile. In context I was talking about how Blight was a mobile killer, but I think he had a pride flag on his hook and now I'm worried I hurt his feelings, and the mobile gaming player base.

Yah I have had the filter make the things I am saying sound WAY worse than intended. They really just need to make it a list of naughty words and variants instead of whatever drug addled AI is running that thing currently.

I was being facecamped until death by a Pinhead because I cocked his Pop by using Blast mine into Repressed Alliance. He was so pissed he threw the game just to facecamp me and nod his head at me.
In endgame chat I wanted to joke about it and say "Easiest facecamp of my life" and it turned into "Easiest ########## ## ## ####" killer thought I was trashtalking him.

The filter censors the "Jin" in "Yun Jin" because it is profane in another language. You cannot say a character's name.

We start the journey with the word Deutsch, which is German for the word... German, being blurred by chat
For some context here, the Nurse was from Mexico and I was playing in Germany.
Next on our tour, Nazi is left completely alone, despite the fact that it's (minorly) worse than German.
For context behind this one, there were about 13 previous screenshots of Felix ######### talking me and my friend because he decided to run into the Huntress instead of following me around.
And last up on our quick stop tour, SUICIDE screamed in all caps.
Some more context here, a Huntress who was slightly tilted after we said gg, to the point where we were told to Kiss In Song (because I guess the Y key was a bit far away) and thought that suicide in all caps was supposed to be intimidating.

Does anyone have any idea how this chat filter "works"? How does it decide which words to filter? I'm genuinely curious how it was programmed to get such ridiculous results.

Multiple of the survivors names are censored as well for some reason.
Tunneling and Camping is censored.
Chat filter is one of the worst systems they've added. You can choose to turn off the chat box if you want to be in your safe space. The fact that we can't choose to turn the filter off has forced it on all of us. I'm a big boy, I can handle mean words, I'd like to have it turned off.
