Would you rather: be killed or sacrificed?
Well, the question and discussion are somewhat simple but let me go into depth. Would you rather be killed by a killer or sacrificed and why? Me? I'd rather be sacrificed than killed in honesty. Being Killed by the killer is just really disrespectful to me and somewhat ruins my mood. Like if the killer consciously chooses you to get killed by their hands in a horrifying manner; I take it as somewhat disrespectful if it's not toxic, just hook me already.
Take this for example. Just a minute ago, I DC'd from a match and got a 30-minute Penalty. Mind you, there were two blood party streamers so I could've gotten AMAZING BP from that, but the real question is 'why.' Why did I DC? Firstly, the map was RPD; which I absolutely despise but because my teammates were great, I didn't sell and I went to put on my A-Game. Everything is going well, I was being super evasive, doing gens and totems; All until the killer spots me and OUTRIGHT IGNORES EVERYONE ELSE.
He tunnels me and then slugs me. Now mind you, this guy had an Ebony Mori + Rancor and I was his obsession. Now, in honesty. I don't know WHY he didn't hook me and then kill me but he slugs me for 2 gens and no one came to pick me up. After I was downed and recovering, he went after other people, and as the gens are done; Adrenaline pops off so I'm back on my feet followed by the killer chasing me throughout the entire map while my teammates open the exit gate.
Another good reason why I hate RPD is that I can never memorize the areas of pallets, so I run to the rooftop; loop him for a bit then start using Locker strat where I dodge hits. Eventually, he grabs me out of one; drops me, and tries to Kill me. I outright DC'D and everyone escaped. For me, i couldn't say GG nor anything else cause i got slugged and no one came to pick me up while this guy was just going about his business
That might sound like a bit of a vent but it's not, it's more reason to explain why I'd rather be sacrificed than killed. What about you?

Dead is dead; whether they kill me with a Mori or via the Hook doesn't really matter to me. I find that...a very strange thing to get salty and DC over (especially considering how much BP you left by quitting instead of waiting 10 seconds for the Mori to be over with) but you do you I guess...

Just take your bloodpoints and move on to the next match. The killer still gets points for you DC’ing, FYI.

I don't care, it's up to the Killer to chose how they want me dead. I won't DC if they want to use a mori.
Their choice. They have the right to enjoy the mori animation.

It's no bother to me. I actually like seeing myself get Mori'd as a bit of variety, compared to just disappearing into the stratosphere by spider limbs every time.
I've even joked with the killer afterwards, being happy I was chosen for the Ivory Mori or whatever.
Either way, however a sacrifice or being killed is perceived as, it's much more reflective of those who it is being done to, than who is doing it.

I mean some people here make a fair point, should've just stayed and let the mori animation play out. My only good reason for why i DC'd was because he slugged me and no one came to pick me up; at all. for 2 GENS MIND YOU. Could've at least help me and taken a hit but they just left me there.

Idc, if you can kill me, now, you probably earned it.
Also, I play both sides, so I can always empathize with what my competitors are going through. Maybe they had a daily or devour, or just wanted to mori someone.
Don't take it personally, it's a game. If you can enjoy a 4 man escape, then allow another may enjoy a 4 mori game.
And DCING, over a mori, just seems petty, IMO.

Killed comes with an awesome animation that I don't see enough of. Sacrificed is the same old animation as always. EGC kills are on a whole other level.

If you are the obsession you are usually going to be targeted but it is also not the killers fault that you had to deal with toxic survivors who don't like helping other people

I will never allow an RBT to kill me. I will force the hook or fall over before I ever let that happen.

I dislike the mori animations, which is why I don't use moris when I play killer. When I play survivor, I would very slightly rather die on hook so I don't have to watch the animation. But, if other people want to use them, fine -- I'll go refill my water.

I actually like mori animations. As long as the match was fun or fair (either), I don't mind any of the options tbh

I thought this was gonna be a fun thread about whether or not we'd prefer to get killed by a killer or sacrificed by the Entity in real life, but it turned out to be this. Wonderful.
