Cosmetic glitch
It's going to be a pretty quick question.
I know modding in DBD was giving advantage to people, so i see why it was fixed, but cosmetic glitch didn't give any sort of advantage so why was it fixed ? I think it should be re-added to the game or at least removing sets because it's removing so much outfit possibilites. If you wanna talk money, cosmetic glitch was giving some income because people would not only buy sets but also buy other outfits to pair them with the sets, so it was pretty worth it, am i right?

Because a harmless glitch was more important than real issues.

Because BHVR is contractually obligated to make all licensed characters appear in the manner which the license holder desires. That's really it.

right but the only outfits that couldn't be changed that i understand are legendary ones, but let's take the Yun-Jin Lee one, it doesn't make sense that it's a set since you could clearly take each pieces

I get sets for licensed characters but not at all for original characters, especially the head pieces which have no reason to be linked along with the rest of the outfit when they look just fine paired with other cosmetics. If they're so adamant on getting rid of the methods to do the glitch and keep everything as sets, they could at least make it so that you can wear certain parts of a set with other cosmetics without the help of a glitch (that would be the headpiece in most cases) and if you choose the top it automatically equips the bottom part of that set.
Like this for example, Yun-Jin's blue hair from the set. It looks so amazing combined with some of her other cosmetics, there's no reason for it to be a set tbh.

yeah that's what i mean, it looks so good but you can't pair them with other items anymore since they're resetting every match, there are some sets that i understand why they are sets, but the green ones from Cheryl, by example, are in my opinion pretty confusing

I agree. It's actually kinda ridiculous you can't make Cheryl wear pants without having to resort to a glitch lol.

I feel like that is the same case with license holder scenario but it's fully BHVR's decision. One of the teasers for all kill was actually this outfit for Yun-Jin so i guess they like it that way.

Well, i haven't seen any game fix lag yet so i don't feel like BHVR is that far behind.
