    i thinking along the lines of shorter lunge and maybe reduced movement sped but definently higher time penalty when crashing into objects because that is not enough

    Really? Isn't he? I have trouble controlling the jerk of the saw. I know it is a me problem, because other people seem to not even feel it, but I find it hard to play him properly and I am always frustrated to be unable to play him to his full potential, because I miss to many saw hits.

    You're losing to M1llys, just saying. They beat you with billys skillfloor, which is quite low granted (Brief mobility). You REALLY shouldnt lose to M1llys, on pc we beat those guys easily.
    His skill comes from downing survivors and if you cant do that reliably, you're not a good billy. I try to master every killer and billys flick is imo the hardest mechanical aspect in this game. You can train aim for huntress, throw andes for clown, get the timing for blinks. But that crazy sensitivity curve is unique to billy, you have to get a feel for it and if you dont play him for a few days, you'll get rusty and need to relearn it.

    Calling him easy is admitting you never play him.

    i play ps4 and he si a bit easy to play high mobility and for attacking a long lunge with a dull

    I think the only thing I maybe agree with is the reduced movement speed. That would make sense considering his chainsaw is so fast. slightly slower movement speed would balance that out. but I see what you're saying.

    yeah because with his movement speed right now and that lunge his ability to close gaps and deny loops is very efficient too efficient

    Depends on the size of the loop. A really short loop can be looped a lot. I dont count the amount of loops, but its a lot more than a normal killer for small loops.

    While killers in general do needs buffs. I have always thought billy was way too forgiving. Object bumps barely phase him and him being allowed to cancel the chainsaw mid sprint whenever he wants with almost no delay is a little too much. I mean look at the delays bubba gets compared to billy.

    If survivors play perfectly, the killer will never win. Killers can 4k after making tons of mistakes/mismanagements if survivors aren’t perfect. It isn’t an issue with Hillbilly, it’s an issue with the game.

    Scott. If i say 5-6 in that context, it could also be 4-5. I dont think that matters, we know how badly you can loop slow killers. And a billy cant break loops, so he gets looped for twice as long, which would be game losing, as billy is just efficient enough against good survivors, but he wouldnt be if he gets looped even harder. Thats my point about billy and 110%, not wether its 4-6 exact loops. Its a lot of loops, aight? Not very fitting for billy. Alright, gn8

    Hillbilly does not need a nerf. There are enough pallets and obstacles on most maps that let you discourage saw use. On top of this you can (with enough practice) dodge the saw. The only maps where the saw is a real threat are the Coldwind Farm maps, but those are his maps! If BBQ is your concern then run to the downed survivor! Just practice some more and everything will be okay.

    On topic: Hillbilly could honestly be 110% MS and no one would bat an eye (except for the salty killer mains.) He has the best mobility ability in the game and an instadown; moving slightly slower when not using the Chainsaw wouldn't be that bad.
    When you compare it to Spirit (she can move slightly faster after standing still for 3 seconds! Oooooh!) Billy is way more powerful. Yet Spirit is 110% and Billy is 115%.

    This guy /\.... "in game based around running around map props"... it certainly shows that survivors have forgotten stealth... nurse loses vision every fatigue she gets.. also it doesnt hurt to actually think outside the box when going against her... iron will cripples nurse because she depends on hearing.. I understand that when going against a God nurse most  times you'll get your ass beat but hey most times when you play as wraith and go against a 4 man SWF you'll get your ass beat..... so why cant the killer side be rewarded for mastering the best killer in the game that is difficult to learn... like a noob cant just hop on nurse and 4k all the time like zubat or marth88

    Keep in mind ranking up is like potato right now... it takes nothing so noobs and all who shouldn't be up in the ranks are there so....

    This /\ he has nothing to counter loops... he has to beat you to the pallet or cut you down before you get to the pallet which is only the case when you're in open areas really... if you're at jungle gym or pretty much any gen you dont need to worry about the one shot honestly...

    no they're are still many viable candidates but from my personal experience hillbilly is just too easy to reach high ranks and on ps4 surviving will always put you against a hillbilly not even kidding 98% hillbilly match he is too easy to play completely effectively

    The problem is no one knows how to dodge the chainsaw and yet its so easy. I'm not saying this to brag or to make myself sound like the best player out there but I consistently hit rank 1 (yes its easy we all know) and its so incredibly rare I get hit with a chainsaw. There are so many simple tips to avoid it, even against "good" billy players.

    1: Never run in a straight line
    2: Stay away from choke points/bottle necks
    3: Fake direction if the Billy is chainsawing from a distance
    4: PS4 simply use 360/fake 360's
    5: Don't run in predictable patterns
    6: Remember if they have missed 3 or more chainsaws then with that time they wasted they could have (most likely) hit you with that mallet already! If you get hit by a chainsaw on attempt #4/5/6/etc then you have effectively been hit with a regular melee twice already.

    I'm pretty sure Weederick was being facetious to make a point. M1 killers can be looped to a detrimental degree much easier, especially for those of us who DON'T play pc where you can more easily hug tight corners. That doesn't mean that the player should allow that to happen, they should just avoid bad loops then. I also don't think billy would work at 110%, I think his nerfs would need to come from somewhere else, because his power isn't the best tool for contestong loops in the first place. His miss/crash cooldowns could be slightly more punishing, for instance. Would make M1illy less viable, but also not ruin the core of the character.

    You are far better than 99% of the killer player base. Judging everyone by your skill isn't fair. I know you'll try to be modest about your skill but inside you know how good you are.

    Dude I'm not even remotely humblebragging. You just go around corners tightly. That's it. You can't be looped 6 times around anything. It doesn't take skill at all.

    I'm pretty sure Weederick was being facetious to make a point. M1 killers can be looped to a detrimental degree much easier, especially for those of us who DON'T play pc where you can more easily hug tight corners. That doesn't mean that the player should allow that to happen, they should just avoid bad loops then. I also don't think billy would work at 110%, I think his nerfs would need to come from somewhere else, because his power isn't the best tool for contestong loops in the first place. His miss/crash cooldowns could be slightly more punishing, for instance. Would make M1illy less viable, but also not ruin the core of the character.

    i feel the same dont ruin his core concepts but also dont make him so esy to play witha slightly slower speed and linger time penalty for crrashing a lot of undeserving R2 illys would go backto the rank 15s they are

    true dodging the chainsaw is easy however against a actually skilled billy it is very difficult as they will pressure you into a corridor then cut you down. but if theykept the skill requirement but brought up the floor it would balance a lot of the game.

    I love playing nurse but there are far to many games where the FPS drop when teleporting that you can't hit a wall in front of your face. I am rank one and some games she works but many games its just a frustrating disaster. I have even been experiencing problems with hag with fps drop during teleport as well. Huntress was having some issues today to making hatchet throws pretty useless. I am hoping its related to this event because that's when huntress/hag lags started. Nurse has always been a hit or miss for me.

    My only real issues with Billy are that unlike Bubba his collision penalty is really low even without using addons for that. He also can charge his chainsaw up and have normal movement speed which given it's super low cd is nuts. He can simpyl charge at you, stop the charge and be on your tail holding charge and you're pretty much toast at that point.

    He really needs to be some slower base movement speed 110 instead of 115 and also be penalized for simply holding his chainsaw in the air charged endlessly.

    I would think Hillbillys base speed at 115 isn't reasonable. He can sprint across the map faster than anyone and even one shot with the chainsaw. Other killers like hag/huntress/nurse/spirit all get speed reduction because of their ability because the devs say they want you to use the ability and not just chase. Seems fair for hillbilly to get a 110 movement speed since his ability is basically sprint burst and an insta down.

    This discussion is bonkers.

    I have played level one Billy with no add-ons or offerings and 4kd and 0kd against varying survivors.

    This game has an awesome learning curve. If you are teamed well and know how to counter Billy, you will do fine (I have seen it).

    If you don't  understand mechanics and fail to counter, you will die. 

    His speed is only a benefit in the right hands. It's a hindrance in the wrong.

    The nerfs you suggest would cater to the lowest denominator and would alienate those survivors who are good against him (like a participation award).

    This is just another thread in a pvp game from someone crying for more handouts because he does not do well in a specific scenario. Let's move on.

    gtfo. no he shouldnt. its how he excels with map pressure. hes fine as he is. just because you cant bully the killer or troll him they should be all at billys level. i stopped playing anyway as i got bored. but when i did billy was the go too because of great map pressure. he can still be looped to death anyway like all killers lol.

    Dude I'm a Survivor main at Rank 1 and yes I do see a lot of Billy's but he's not a huge problem for some of us "Good" survivors, hell I've even kicked a bunch of Nurse's floaty ass in high ranks.

    Billy isn't OP in my opinion, but very much add-on depended to be really good. Have you ever faced a Billy without add-ons before? Very easy to juke right!

    Some of you survivors that are having a difficult time playing against him need to learn how to use the environment around you against him.

    Fake vault a window, fake a pallet drop when he revs the chainsaw (play red light, green light with his ass) force him to hit you with his hammer, when he revs the chainsaw behind you just fake a 360 to make him stop and create a gap between you 2 so you have time to dodge it.

    Hell ever since Wraith buffs he's way more annoying to play against then Billy!

    Silent bell, Bone clapper bell and Windstorm on top of Windstorms with a built-in Windstorm and the Body blocking... That's wayyy crazier to play against.
