Killer Combatant Series #2!!! Demogorgon Versus Deathslinger!!!
DISCLAIMERS OF THIS GAME!!!
RULE I. I am going to avoid fights like Cannibal and Hillbilly.
RULE 2. I am going to try and avoid reasonably unfair fights but this is bound to happen with the number of killers we have.
RULE 3. All killers are considered mortal and killable. (Immortality is not a fair argument standpoint thus any killer who is immortal is considered mortal in this series.)
RULE 4. The winner will be determined after voting ends every Friday Night.
RULE 5. Every Saturday Morning I will post a new Killer Combatant Series.
RULE 6. I will vote my opinion the morning of the decided winning killer. If it is a tie, before I vote, my deciding vote will be based on everyone's comments using reasonable evidence as to which killer would actually win. My vote can create a tie between the two killers ending in both killers demise/victory.
RULE 7. PLEASE RESPECT OTHER PEOPLES OPINIONS!
RULE 8. Also try to think outside the box in these match ups.

Demo is a super natural monster (and a good boy) from another dimension and Slinger is just a cowboy with a gun. Gotta go with Demo.

Demo shrugs off bullets, so a harpoon will do nothing to him. Then, Slinger is going to get mauled

Kind of an unfair pairing since you kinda pitted a killer that has an advantage around mid ranges, to a creature that kills its prey up close as a feral animal would.
I think the Deathslinger could have honestly won against a decent chunk of the 1 v 1's in Dead By Daylight but against the Demogorgon I don't think so. Makes me wonder about the thought process behind why these characters had to go against each other (if there was a thought process and it wasn't selected by random).

Yeahhh Demo is a literal brute, the big guy will, and I mean WILL tank a hit from the Redeemer, and then it'll eat him. Sorry Slinger, better luck next time... without your liver and a few other organs, that is.

First let me say I respect everyone's opinions. I understand Demo is a supernatural being. I wouldn't count out Death Slinger yet... Please remember I adjusted the reality of these fights as stated in RULE #3. So in this fight he is killable. I knew Demo was going to be a hard one to pit someone up against.
And yes... there was a thought process.
My reasoning for Demo and Death Slinger was,
Who could I see Demo going up against in an interesting fight. The killer cowboy with a harpoon gun almost gives off this "hunter vibe" And what better prey than something else that is hunting him?Yes Demo is very strong and powerful but still killable. Also don't forget that Caleb Quinn is very resourceful and a learned engineering underneath his father. I could see him coming up with a way to catch and or even kill Demogorgon.SPOLIERS IF YOU HAVEN"T SEEN the end of SEASON 3 of Stranger Things.
But if it's possible to capture a Demogorgon I can't imagine a very skilled Cowboy from the Badlands would be completely defeated.
@Seiko300 Who do you see being a match up against Demo? Because reality is the roster only has so many supernatural killers. Only other killers I thought about was the Oni, Executioner, Nemesis, and a couple others. But personally see them going up against someone else. I really considered others but personally picked this match up for flavor sake.

Very good points! But remember we see Steve Harrington hit Demo with a batt and it actually staggers him. A harpoon with enough force just might puncture Demo or at least cause bludgeoning Damage.
As for the demogorgon, although even more resistant to bullets (seemingly bulletproof), it still is vulnerable to blunt force (Steve's bat), and it's also highly vulnerable to burning/fire, which is possibly even lethal if exposed to for long enough. These are important factors to remember. If Death Slinger were to use the environment and his weapon he could potentially outsmart and secure his victory.

It is true I should've waited to use Demo in my Killer Combatant series due to the Licensing issue with BHVR and Netflix. In the first Killer Combatant match no one really mentioned who they wanted to see next so I went with this matchup. If you guys would like a different change up on this fight let me know. After all... this is just supposed to be fun and creative. I also wonder if just because again Stranger Things is a sensitive Topic right now might be the overwhelming vote. I'll still make the match fun in the end.

Sure, the bat staggered Demo as it would most creatures who aren't made of metal. If you hit a grizzly bear in the face it's going to back up a little, but you're still not leaving that situation alive. You'll get ripped apart a second later.

So I know I am not to Vote until the ending as in Rule#6 But this winner looks to be determined pretty quickly. So I'll make an exception. I'll still keep the voting to determine the winner until Saturday Morning. Plus I just feel really bad for Death Slinger man no love for this guy lol xD. But who knows maybe someone else will pull for Death Slinger. I mean if Liam Neeson can take on a wolf nearly bear handed I have faith in Death Slinger.
And it's not a bat or a measly bullet. It's a spear traveling at high speeds. If he aims that right down Demo's mouth... Just saying. Assuming his spear can pierce Demo's skin... Again we're going to to have to consider a lot of factors for these fights. And sometimes Rule #2 will happen. Most of this is decided by votes and some Fictional evidence of both of these made up characters. Caleb Quinn is just a man but the Entity gives the killers some type of power and clearly recognizes him as a worthy killer.

The problem with the argument that Caleb can capture Demogorgon is that, sure, The Russians did it, but they had millions of dollars, years of research, thousands of employees, and more modern technology.
Caleb is smart, that shouldn't be underestimated, but at the end of the day he's still a human that fails (the speargun, his gun, took multiple attempts and modifications to make, to quote his lore- "the speargun. The first trial occurred when a thief robbed a Chinese laundry. Seizing on the opportunity, Caleb unleashed his prototype. Metal joints screeched as the spike shot forward, gouging into the target's abdomen. But as the spear tugged, it caught the thief's intestines, and, with an ungodly sound, yanked them onto the dusty road. After several iterations, the disembowelments dwindled, but Caleb had already earned his new nickname: The Deathslinger." - that text highlighted in his quote proves he killed people trying to make his gun so that it didn't kill).
Even if Caleb has a great idea to kill/capture Demogorgon, we can't be guaranteed it'd work the first time and if it fails he might not have a second chance.
Also, Demogorgon can influence technology and random objects (as seen in episode 1 where he unlocks the Byer's front door), Demogorgon maybe could render Caleb's Speargun obsolete.

Very well said. I am making these without a biased opinion. I personally don't care who wins I just want to see people votes and reaction to this series. Was it the best episode? No it's a little one sided but still interesting to flush this out. I think I'll come back to these two at a later episode. So am I rooting for Deathslinger? No. Just maybe might've over estimated Caleb.
