So about the hatch changes.
Original/Current
Survivor Finds Hatch First: Survivor gets a free escape even though they failed to power gates.
Killer Finds Hatch First : Survivor just runs up to the hatch since the Killer has no way of actually preventing them from just sitting there until the Killer gets bored, Survivor gets a free escape even though they failed to power gates.
PTB Version 1
Survivor Finds Hatch First: Survivor gets a free escape even though they failed to power gates.
Killer Finds Hatch First : Survivor has to complete generator to re-open hatch, still giving them a chance at escape even though they failed to power gates.
PTB Version 2
Survivor Finds Hatch First: Survivor gets a free escape even though they failed to power gates.
Killer Finds Hatch First : Survivor gets the gates powered for free, allowing them to easily escape, even though they failed to power gates themselves.
How is this okay? The PTB Version 1 was bad, but not too bad, but the PTB Version may as well just be like the original/current version.
Can the Killer get a "No you didnt" button that brings a Survivor that already escaped out of the exit gates back into the game and reseal the exit gates? Because that is what the Hatch is the equivalent of.

Powering a gen can be pretty difficult by yourself, especially when the killer is given free roam and no generators have been started. I'm pretty sure their reasoning behind the change was that gates take significantly longer to use than the hatch, plus the have glowing red lights and sounds. So you can patrol the gates instead of trying to prevent the survivor from taking the easier option.

The Hatch changes will not be going live with 2.0.0
They were included in the PTB for testing purposes only and we aren't satisfied with the mechanic as it is right now. We are exploring more end-game mechanics and ideas.5 -

How many games have you played with it so far? You realize that all end game perks proc at the end of the game which can be very interesting. Who cares of the gates get power, they still have to go through the work on escaping still. You would still have to play stealthy to get out.
