Which side of the community is most toxic?

HE CAME!!
I wanted to answer it seriously but since it is common sense anyway...

It's not common sense to everyone, wouldn't have made a poll otherwise.

Both are equally toxic
survivor are more common due how many there are per match

HE CAME!!
Yeah common sense is not that common but I have a feeling that majority of votes will be right. Even if they came.

HE CAME!!
Yep.

Both are equally toxic
The number of toxic Survivors will be higher because there are 4 Survivors each Map but only 1 Killer.
However, Killer Toxicity has actual impact on the game. Survivor Toxicity cannot deny the Killer any points or Kills, nobody will lose a game from a clicking flashlight or a teabag.

Survivors
As a red rank on both sides, the ratio between toxic survivors and toxic killers I have encountered are like 95:5. It’s really not even a comparison and I’m not sure why it’s like this.

Toxicity? This community is wholesome.
Yesterday I was called "toxic cancer clicky clicky F-word kid" by Killer, it was fun game, we were playing against Huntress and I found flashlight in chest, whole match I didn't use it except one moment when she hit me behind corner of wall due to her McDonald's connection, so I step back clicked 3 times and run away, game goes forward normally and I never used flashlight in this match again. She was so happy when she catch me in the end and BM me on hook shaking her head.

Instead of thinking about it as killers vs survivors, we should be thinking of it as toxic players vs the rest of us. The toxic players express their toxicity differently depending on whether they're on killer or survivor that day, but it's not a killer or survivor problem. It's a toxic player problem.

And where do you generally see toxic players playing most as?
2 -
Survivors
I voted survivors but on second thought it's both sides equally.

HE CAME!!
I don't think it helps to debate that.

Both are equally toxic
Both are equally toxic, by which I mean neither are particularly toxic. This game's community suffers more from entitlement than proper toxicity like you get in some multiplayer games. You see people complaining about the most stupid things, but it's relatively rare to see someone go fully out of their way to harass or excessively insult or bully, which is what I'd consider toxicity to be.

Both are equally toxic
Both are Toxic, but it's actually the Killers actions that change the outcome of the game and can cause them to win if they choose to camp and tunnel hardcore. Survivors can be toxic but it doesn't change the gameplay at all, tbag or a clicking flashlight isn't the end of the world. There's more problems in life

Both are equally toxic
Both are equally as toxic, but there is a divide. Killers can actually do more toxic things, while survivors appear more toxic because there is 4 of them.

Both are equally toxic
Killers have the potential to do more toxic things (e.g. Bleeding someone out on the ground purely to spite them). Although Survivor toxicity is usually less extreme, it's still pretty abundant. Overall, I'd say that in my experience, Survivor toxicity is more common. However, I do see toxic behaviour from the Killer side enough to kinda warrant picking both. Although now that I think about it, I should've put down Survivors. Oh well, too late to change it now, lol.

Both are equally toxic
This entire community is a cesspit i am never prideful to tell other people i engage with. When i boot up DBD the only thought that ever enters my mind is "Hell is other people, this games playerbase is full of toxic garbage."
That being said, i love ya'll

Survivors
Definitely survivors. They can be toxic to both the killer AND their teammates.

Survivors
I'm also a red rank on both sides and I've definitely encountered more toxicity from survivors than I have from killers. And my definition of toxicity is either insults in chat or doing something in the game that's unbeneficial to gameplay other than to be toxic (i.e. flashlight flickering, teabagging, leaving all survivors to bleed out, etc). I don't consider slugging, camping, flashlight saves/at a pallet to be seriously toxic. I have around 700 hours in the game and I can only recall one toxic killer I've gotten, which was a Twins that slugged everyone and left everyone to bleed out slowly while trying to get Victor to jump on a table in Dead Dawg Saloon.
When I first joined this game and was just learning to play killer the survivors I got were almost unbearably toxic. There's multiple amounts of times I can recall debating on quitting the game because of it. But now that I know what I'm doing I get toxic survivors maybe once every month? Maybe even less? Most people are wholesome to me now and I feel very welcomed in the community for the most part.

HE CAME!!
None of the community sides are "most" toxic. There are "black sheep" in any bunch, but they don't define the community as a whole.
Compared to many other multiplayer games, DbD's community is actually pretty neutral-to-positive, it's just that whiners are quite loud lol

HE CAME!!
The one which asks questions like this.

Survivors
No, they can't lose a game by clicking flashlights.
But they do have the most power over the trial than the killer.
"No they don't." A game will never end if survivors don't do gens and keep hiding.
A killer, however, can't do that. Only way they can stop everything from happening for a long time would be to slug, and even THAT has a time limit.
Honestly, I've been convinced time and time again that there are quite a bit more survivors who feel entitled more than the killer.

I mean I have messages turned off but you see when people post chats and stuff it's always survivors writing these stupid things.

Both are equally toxic
It's just a vicious circle of toxicity. Both sides do toxic things - one side will be on receiving end one match, they then take it out on randoms in next match by being toxic to them, and cycle continues. It being 4 survivors and 1 killer you're more likely to see it from a survivor but that doesn't mean survivors are more toxic than killers just odds are you'll experience it more from survivors. There's also bias based on the side you main which will make you believe the other side is more toxic.

Scott Jund made an excellent discussion video on this very topic:

Both are equally toxic
Was going to say the same thing. I liked the conclusion that Killers have the potential to be more game changing in their toxicity, but because there are more survivors, you'll see it more with survivors. He said something along the lines of "If 25% of killers and survivors are toxic, you'll see 1 toxic killer every 4 matches, vs 1 toxic survivor every match"

Both are equally toxic
The ratio of survivor to killer is 4:1 so people need to consider this more when talking about one side being more toxic.
Both sides are quite toxic. When they want to be. On one side you'll have bully squads who will t-bag and click lots at a killer for no reason. The next you'll have a Legion who will just slug someone till they nearly bleed out for no reason (literally happened the other day).

Scott said it all.

Survivors
Any mildly mature human who reads these forums knows which side is OVERWHELMINGLY more childish.

Both are equally toxic
Anyone who says just survivors or just killers are super ignorant people.
I think its obvious that both sides have people that play to purposely ruin someone elses experience.
