Is there by any chance we can get a REdo?
I have been wondering for awhile now if its possible to get a REdo? I've already expressed what everything I don't like about the chapter and how they didn't even stick to their own words. They said they wouldn't change characters into something they're not but then proceeded to make a character act basically 0% how they did in their own universe. All is it possible for one of the next chapter releases or something to just be RE again but its just a complete overhaul of everything in the chapter? Like graphics, the map/removing the random orange bubbles, and everythingabout Nemesis' power? This is my favorite video game license and its the worst chapter in the entire game and RE fans won't like it once they realize that if they wanna play as a good version of Nemesis they will just play REsistance or MVC? Anything other than this game basically.

There’s a reason people love old Freddy and Myers so much. It’s because they fell like playing their film counterpart. The devs need to focus on this more
Ive never played a RE game in my life but even I know nemesis is just uninspired

I would suggest just looking up a little bit of footage of how he works or something and you'll see what he could have been. Nemesis in DBD basically just makes the game feel more like RE which is a shame.

I thought you were done with dbd?
Also haven't you already asked this same question in different words?

Just another forum user being overdramatic lol. He crawls back to dbd like an abused lover.

He did say he was done with the game not the forums. I barely play the game atm but am still on the forums

Doesn't change that OP is asking a question they've already asked before

I still think they'd be better off using another Killer from the franchise, Iconic or not if you won't stick to how the killer was represented in their universe, what's the point? Myself i would've preferred Heisenberg and his metal manipulation, just feel it would've worked better and stayed true to the character, plus Village map would be 10x times better.

This is pretty much how I feel. The only reason Nemesis was picked as the killer instead of another RE villain was just because he was "iconic", not because he'd actually work in the game.

All I'm saying is that not giving Nemesis his rocket launcher was a huge mistake. It's core to his identity, or at least popularity - it'd be like if Pyramid Head came without his great knife or something. Some kind of power boost functionality with the rocket launcher, like Corrupt Purge, would be so much more interesting than his current power, PH but less fun and much weaker.

Non of the characters would have been treated well if someone like Nemesis who is simple to make was purposefully messed up. Plus anything from the new games probably would have never happened because it wouldn't sell well.

But some fail to see he could have easily worked. How many killers simply run and are destructive? Sounds like he could've easily worked and have been unique.

I mean I understand why they didn't give him weapons. Sure I would have liked them but I understand. But at least give the man his iconic running.

I play REsistance.
1 -
That was a completely different question. And no I don't play DBD much. Maybe a couple times every week. I play REsistance as people should for the good RE Nemesis content.
1 -
Probably not. It sold well and stuff, and he's not overpowered or anything so.

I don't care about balancing. I care about his accuracy. Its a shame he won't become the true Nemesis. He ultimately was the reason its the worst chapter for me and many RE fans I talk to.
1 -
That's the point. We already have like three killers that run super fast. That's not creative or unique at all.
Taking that away leaves Nemesis with the tentacle or maybe roaring as his only options for a power. And surprise surprise, that's exactly what we got. (And no, I'm not counting his rocket launcher or flamethrower. Heavy weapons like that don't belong in DbD in my opinion.)
Birkin, Saddler, Jack, and Heisenberg all could have worked better.
2 -
I can see why he'd do it, just like for the "human interaction" y'know just talking to people. Don't get to do that too often.

Truthfully the devs think the opposite.

Another problem is another runner can be unique. People complained when Oni and Blight were runners but people love them now because they are unique. They aren't just a Hillbilly ripoff because they have a similar ability. It still works very differently just like Nemesis' would have worked.

Nemesis has a kit that should've gone to Left 4 Dead's Witch. She should have been a playable killer with AI zombies and insane reach with those claws, released with Bill a long time ago. Nemesis should've had a rocket launcher instead of zombies, just sayin.
That said, I really like Nemesis current kit.

Tehehe I get it good pun. But yeah Nemboy kinda underwhelming but hey at least he's in the game thats more than I thought would happen in the first place TBH.

This is silly. There's nothing wrong with the RE chapter. What I'm wondering is if they'll ever give us a 2nd chapter of the same franchise. RE would be a perfect target of that.
1 -
There is too much wrong. The map looks, the models, and the killer power. Basically the entire thing except Leon.

I mean I guess you can say he's in the game but he is split into 2 killers. Oni has his power and Nemesis only has the looks and sound. Without both he isn't really there all that much.

After playing R3:Make grinding out all the challenges (I currently have 4 more left before the game's 100%), and playing on Nightmare and Inferno Difficulty (Nightmare's my favourite difficulty, it feels right), Nemesis is just a straight disappointment to me. It'd be cool if, instead of being a 'runner' like @TheDarkTyrant wanted, he used his tentacle to pull himself places. Pull himself to a door frame, pull himself up a floor (that'd be VERY unique, in my opinion), possibly even pull himself over certain loops. Just something intimidating that really makes him feel relentless. And, as I've spoken about before, give him a special ability based on possibly a timer where he can get a one-shot insta-down RPG with a radius, or even a quick burst of speed. The Nemesis we have now is just lackluster, when I get matches with him it makes me want to go play RE: Resistance so I go against a good Nemesis.

RE1 Jill not available on Day 1 but Infected Claire is is a travesty.
Nemesis not having a Rocket Launcher mori is such a disappointment.
RE was one of the most hyped chapters I could think of. The amount of people who are crazy passionate about RE is well...crazy and rather infectious. And I hate to say it, but the Hellraiser killer looks so much cooler and awesome than Nemesis, and I thought Pinhead looked like a super lame character at first.
2 -
We might, I mean according to leaks RCPD is being split into I think 3 different maps.
Maybe this means Nemesis will get a touch up as well?

I really wanted Lady Dimitrescu even though I knew it was hyper unrealistic.
I knew from the moment Resident Evil crossover was announced it would be Jill and Nemesis and maybe a side of Leon (Not to brag but I was right on all three) but I never knew how they would make Nemesis work.
And boy was I honestly disappointed lol
Like, don't get it twisted I think zombies are really cool and help stay true to the RE franchise but it feels weird being part of Nemesis' kit. I think that aspect of him is the problem, they spread things too thin with him and decided his only active power would be the tentacle/mutation leveling up and otherwise zombies as a very strange passive. Like yes they're cool but in the grand scheme of things Nemesis feels utterly bland. Compare him to Pyramid Head who I think to this day is still the best licensed killer in terms of being true to the game/movie they are from and Nemesis just falls rather flat and it makes me so sad.

I wish time traveling is a thing so I can play dbd on last gen pre re one more time.

He doesn't pull himself to places. I for 100% 10 days after the game came out. He should run. Anyone who plays those games would like that.
0 -
He was such an easy character to get right. I mean you have to basically try to mess up Nemesis.
1 -
I think he just needs tor run. Even if he did also have a leap just make him run as well or something. Running needs to be a part of his kit. Its one of if not the most iconic part of him.
0 -
In the way fans like me want? I doubt it. I'm sure its possible to do it but I doubt they will. I want Nemesis to be fast which is one of his most iconic traits but in DBD he is a snail and will sadly probably always stay that way.
0 -
REsistance did him perfectly. Now I wasn't looking for perfect in DBD. I completely understand if he isn't perfect but I have a problem with him not acting like Nemesis even 10%. He needs speed. The devs have no problem with making speed killers but they just refused with a licensed character who's arguably most iconic trait is how fast he is and destructive. In DBD he's ONLY destructive but not even in the way he should. His tentacle is the destructive thing for 0 reason.
1 -
Yeah... he does? When he flings in front of you very quickly, you see the tentacle go back into his arm. When you go into an area he can't reach, or maybe only in the RPG segment, you see his tentacle go up, then him follow shortly after. In the Demolition Site building, you can see him (at least in one cutscene) pull himself up to the floor Jill's on. I'm actively playing RE3 still, so these things are fresh in my mind.

Run Nemesis Run.

I'm talking about the way you mean. It would look so ridiculous. It'd be just as unfaithful or even worse than it is now.
