What exhaustion would you run if DH didn't exist?
After reading a lot about Dead Hard, I was wondering what exhaustion perk you would run if it doesn't exist. I mean, if DH is the one you use/would use.
If we had no Dead Hard, I'd run Sprint Burst. I already switch a lot between DH and SB. I like the fact it's useful outside of chases: you can run faster to sit on another generator, to make a save, to escape through the Exit Gates...
And contrary to DH, I can use it when I'm healthy.
What would be yours? Explain the reason of your choice, I'd like to know it!

Lithe........because that's the only exhaustion perk I regularly use

i dont run dh personally, i use sb. that being said if i had to choose one id still use sb i reckon. i find it very useful if i just so happen to be caught off gaurd, i like that i can 99 my exhaustion and hold my sb in the pocket. but most importantly i like that no zone is a dead zone if sb is used correctly.

I'm considering to entirely remove DH from my build for SB. I love it, even if sometimes it's quite frustrating to burn it at the start of the match to meet the Killer two seconds later. 🙈

Either Sprint Burst or Lithe because those are the only exhaustion perks I use.

true thats always a pain in the butt, but thats the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

balanced landing

I don't run Dead Hard or any other exhaustion perk, so I guess nothing?

I don't know. You think so?

Sprint burst easily. I love DH because of its utility and the fact i don't have to scoot everywhere, but SB is my next best option.

Yeah probably. I just don't really like exhaustion perks.
1 -
Head On is the only exhaustion perk I ever use so probably that.
0 -
Head on, I make so many killers scared of any locker. It's great and makes me laugh
2 -
Probably Lithe because it is the easiest to use and I suck. I like Balanced Landing the most, but I do not like how circumstantial it is.

I only ever ran DH for David's Adept and tome challenge so wouldn't make a difference for me if it didn't exist. I had Adrenaline going for awhile, I liked the health state and speed when gens finished. Other than that I'm not really a fan of the exhaustion perks.

I prefer using Sprint Burst.
While using it, I can play stealthy at the start of game so I don't get caught in bad position.
It prevents me from unsafe loops if it's not on cooldown.
Additionally, if I know where my injured teammates are, I can bait killer with 99 SB and make my teammate buy some time if killer ignores me.

Balanced landing. I'm kind of annoyed at the amount of times I go down after falling from a high place only to have my character move at 10% speed for a few seconds while I'm trying to turn him around and get in a window.
Dead Hard still wins over it because I get more use out of it when I'm not exhausted on the ground. Especially on occasions where I'll be in a chase and a hapless survivor will get in my way and I have to dead hard through them.

Balanced Landing. Suddenly every hill or harvester becomes a free getaway.

Balanced Landing for sure. I already prefer it over Dead Hard because it turns areas that are normally hard to play and/or straight up dead/kill zones for easy access to a better area or a fast get away, without having to manage exhaustion like SB.
1 -
Sprint Burst and it's not even close. It's the best exhaustion perk survivors have.
1 -
I wouldn't have to worry, 'cause the only exhaustion perk I ever use is
1 -
I dont really use any exhaust perks other than adrenaline

I switched out DH for Adrenaline a few weeks ago. I dont really need an Exhaustion-Perk and I was just tired of DH not working. Especially because there is sometimes a new Trend where the animation actually starts and you still go down, mid DH-Animation.
I would probably run Balanced Landing, if they would not have made it the worst Exhaustion Perk. I used it before, it was great, they nerfed it, it is terrible. No point in using Balanced Landing IMO.
In general, if I want to go for an Exhaustion Perk, I would go for Sprint Burst now. It is stronger than DH anyway.

hum i don't usually run any, it never fit my build but i would say Lithe or Balanced Landing. Because it works by itself, while Sprint Burst you need to equip Fixated and Head on you need Q&Q. And don't make me started on Smash hit, it already pretty rare to stun a killer, but it makes survivor greed a lot or drop every pallet when in chase XD

I don’t run DH. I run lithe, balanced, smash hit, sprint burst, in that order.

I don't run DH unless a perk wheel deems it so, because I find it BS to go against.
I don't run exhaustion perks normally, unless one counts Adrenaline, which I consider a necessity if you're playing in a decent team (regardless of comms)
I do love Lithe, though, as there are some insanely big brain plays you can use to throw off killers if used well.

I switched to SB. The best exhaustion in the game.

I already use Lithe, I prefer it

None as I always have

I like that the majority of you say they dont run DH but the majority of my lobby i see 3 or 4 DH XD
Whitout DH i run lithe or sprint burst i think those perk are really good if you dont have DH

If I had to use an exhaustion then BL
Reason is I often want to vault or run without wasting my exhaustion so BL gives full control of that. Not to mention most maps have a gen high up or near a hill with no loops near and this would fix it.
However I probably wouldn't run one, theres alot of good perks out there that can be always active

Lithe.
In fact I started to use it already instead Dead Hard.
0 -
Dh freezes the game on last gen, lithe too I think.
So I switched dh for sb and it is not bad at all.

I don't use Dead Hard anyway. Lithe and Balanced Landing are more fun.

Soooo no one is going to mention Smash Hit?

So many killers can totally ignore pallets (be it ranged killer or killers that can break pallets with their power) and can be countered by killers that respect pallets, so Smash Hit is super situnational and dependant on the killer. I once ran it, got a single stun on the Wraith and for the rest of the game he respected pallets, so I couldn't use it again. I agree with people that say it's the weakest Exhaustion perk.
Also I recently replaced DH with Balanced Landing. The trend of getting hit in the middle of the animation finally made me take it off. Balanced Landing is nice for being able to drop down buildings and not get hit for it. But SB + Fixated is one of my favorite combos in the game, so I might also run that from time to time.

Already don't use it and instead run head on quite frequently. Though if I was aiming to win and sweat to do so, sprint burst.
0 -
I forgot about Smash Hit. I'd probably go with that.

I've had some fun with Smash Hit.

Smash Hit needs a buff. It should give a 4 second burst of speed for a pallet stun and a 3 second burst of speed without a pallet stun.
I also think Head-On should give a 4 second stun, specifically because that would make it very useful for getting out of the basement, where no other exhaustion perk really does that. Right now, a 3 second stun just ends with you going back into the basement.

Dead Hard hasn't existed for console players for months because the RE chapter broke the game for us.
The only exhaustion perks we can use without it freezing the game are Sprint Burst and Balanced Landing. I've been using Balanced but it does suck since there is at least one map that has no place to use it.

I'd run Lithe over Dead Hard.
Being able to control when I use the Exhaustion Perk is my favourite way of playing them.
Which is not the case with Balanced Landing, Sprint Burst, and Smash Hit.

Lithe. Sometimes sprint burst will bug out and get stuck on exhaustion. Balanced landing isn't useful enough because several maps barely got anything to fall off of. Head on is too weak and desperately needs a buff. Lithe has the best synergy anyways imo.

I use Lithe or Head-On

Sprint Burst. I never use DH, I don't even like it xd
