Is this build I use for all killers viable?

For all killers, I have a build "blueprint" that I follow when sorting out their perks.

  1. A tracking perk, so I know the progress of gens and what survivors are doing. (BBQ & Chilli, Thrilling Tremors, Tinkerer, Discordance...)
  2. A slowdown perk. (Hex: Ruin)
  3. A backup slowdown perk if Ruin gets cleansed (Pop Goes The Weasel, Corrupt Intervention...)
  4. A good character-specific perk (Monitor & Abuse on Deathslinger, Stridor on Spirit, Infectious on Oni...)

I wonder, is it fine using half of my perk slots just for slowdown? Would you guys change anything about this blueprint?

    Yes. It's pretty much a near-optimal build.

You can sub the tracking perk with another slowdown, or a snowball (haunted, devour, etc.), if you want to go full-on sweaty.

It is a good build but I recommend to try a few games without slowdown perks. The reason is to find out your killers specific weakness or advantages and you will understand the killer better. Also ask yourself how often you use a perk and if you do use a perk often do you benefit from it and if a perk is rarely used but helps massively try to consider running it. <Keep in mind I play demo and recommend a build that complements your unique play-style> .

Works with most killer's, however with Twins you would need to Adjust it somewhat as Victor can't see corrupt intervention or discordance for example, You'll still get the noise notification but not the aura. And Ruin / Undying is pretty much mandatory if you rely on Victor a lot, However Thrilling Tremor's and Pop works fine, just a preference. And i'm sure you know Victor can't activate perks like infectious or sloppy on his own, Just Charlotte.

My 3 go to Perks with Killers I am most confident with are:

    • Corrupt
    • BBQ
    • Monitor and Abuse
    • 4th Perk which works well with each Killer (I'm all Ears for PH), (Enduring for Blight) etc.

Personally, I try to avoid to much slowdown Perks because I find them boring. And I try to avoid Tinkerer as well. But I'd say the top 3 Perks I use on most Killers I am confident with, or at least similar builds.

As you see, most of my Killer buids consist of Corrupt, BBQ and Monitor. It's always good to have some consistent builds and those help me win most of the time. Why do I use those 3?

Corrupt: Keeps me calm because I know people can't work on gens immediately and also makes it where I don't have to check on all gens instantly.

BBQ: Because Bloodpoints and the Aura also helps to find your next chase target quicker, making it so I am in chase most the game.

Monitor: Really helps to sneak up easier on targets, they don't expect the lower TR and helps alot against holding W.

Honestly i stop using ruin because totem are too much of a gamble. Instead i use the same build on all killer and it work thrilling tremors, pop, eruption and corrupt intervention
