What Killer do you think could become a Survivor?

After learning about The Trapper's backstory, a lot of fans are requesting him as a Survivor. I honestly think it's possible. Considering how he looked in the Archives. A few of these killers may not be redeemable, but The Entity is a interdimensional being. Call me ignorant, but you can't say this wouldn't be possible.

If these particular Killers, before they became who they are to this day, suddenly had visions of the people that they were about to become. If you read their backstories, you can understand what I'm inferring. Before the event of what made them become Killers, before The Entity took them. Again, these killers may not be redeemable, but The Entity is a interdimensional being. So, anything can be possible.

Here are the killers we can rule out:

Doctor: Tortures his patients for the fun of it.

Clown: Clearly a drunken, gluttonous sociopath who likes the taste of fingers. Not very "Finger Licken Good!"

50% Legion: Frank and Julie, just for the desire of being killers and forcing Joey and Susie into helping them kill.

Plague: Because she wanted to save her people from the plague, she had such a devotion for The Entity, whom she unknowingly worships. So she was willing to sacrifice everyone, including herself, which is kind of a tragic story.

Twins: Their mother was burned to death in front them and they were forced to kill for their own survival. They would've been destined to be killers, even if they didn't want to be, which is another tragic story.

Huntress: She lost her mom to a deer which she killed. She had a child like mind and was very territorial for her own survival. She kidnapped children to take care of them, not thinking to feed them until they starved to death. And it broke her every time, causing her to go mad. Again, super tragic.

Oni: His story is also kind of tragic, but some of the events that happened, he may have brought on to himself. He is a prideful samurai, let's put it that way.

Hillbilly: He had a very tragic past too. But in the end, the damage was done and it was read that he enjoyed killing the policeman that were hunting him. It was too late for him.

All Licensed Killers: Just because.

In another dimension where Rin survives against her father, Rin will be the survivor and her dad will be the killer.

Joey and Susie, The Legion (They were friends with Frank and Julie, but didn't want to be involved. Yet they where forced into it.)

I enjoy the idea of some survivors survivors being corrupted and twisted enough to the point of being bent to serve the entity's will after endless torture in the perpetual cycle of death of Dead By Daylight- but I'm not a huge fan of killers shedding their servitude and searching for their own escape, betraying their brethren and being hunted down because of it.

Which, on an off-note, I can't help but wonder if that says something about me as a person- that I might be more interested in stories about people and their descent into madness, villainy, vanity, or otherwise evil, than I am in stories about the potential redemption of evil or morally corrupt people people and their personal hopes to seek absolution, clemency, and general atonement. 🤔

That aside, I guess I'd say The Legion, for the reasons stated within the Poll Option- I think it might be a bit less likely that Frank and Julie would become survivors, but because Joey and Susie really started off as bystanders almost, and really suffered from the sin of omission (allowing their petty criminal activities to continue and escalate to murder) at least at the beginning before succumbing to peer pressure, it seems to me that they have the best chance at a second chance and reject the opportunity of remaining and accomplice to the violent urges of the Legion.

Runner up would be The Plague, since her sin was one of Blind Devotion, thoughtlessly putting herself and those in her care that followed her needlessly at risk of sickness and death. She again continues to make the same mistake, and sees in the Entity perhaps a way to salvation and deliverance if only she should she remain devoted enough. If the Plague were able to look beyond this and see the Entity as the original manifestation of evil that it is, which twists and corrupts, perhaps she would reject it completely and look both inward and outward for her own escape.

Side note: Although this is technically a poll, I would consider this thread a more lore-focused thing and personally I would post questions and topics like this in that section of the forums. Polls can be created in any section of the forums and aren't limited to the polls section itself, but again I'm not saying this is in the wrong place, it's not technically, I just think it would be better under Lore. You might find more people willing to engage discussion in deeper detail over there than you would in just the general polls section where people talk about a greater variety of other things, whether that's in-game features, balance, future content, etc.

    Just my thoughts though.

To some, yes, definitely. I just play him for the heck of it. That and I kinda like his cosmetics. I just wish there was a map to go with him. That menu when he came out looked sick.

I kind of included him, because of ideas like "What would've happened if he wasn't there during the fire, or if he was taken by the Entity during it, before he could here the scream of those people." That and he gives like a Joker/Johnny Cage persona. All he wants is attention. Maybe he'd like to see himself as a Survivor as much as he likes seeing himself as a Killer.

To be competitive out of all Killers and Survivors maybe? He seems like this type of character that will do anything for attention, anything to make himself known. Sounds unlikely he can be a Survivor, but he'll probably do anything to be Dead By Daylight's Top Model.

I wouldn’t include the Trickster because he was a serial killer even before this. If he let his bandmates die because he wanted attention, he definitely wouldn’t want to share the spotlight with three other survivors.

Definitly Rin, she is the only one who actually didn't commit any murder before being taken. Off all the killers she is the most innocent one.
