Who's in the right?
In a match I was spectating (after dying on the hook) the survivor who was camping hatch the entire time got lag-switched and died. He sat there not even attempting to save me. It was my first hook too. Hatch camping isn't fun for any party (thankfully its being removed).
I talked to the killer after the match and thanked them and they said that they never lagged switch, but as a survivor main hated selfish survivors. In the killers defense the only unhook that I saw the survivor do was right in front of him.
My question is: Is it ethically right to treat a toxic survivor toxically by denying their win even if it is based solely off of the fact that the killer lag switched.

What do you mean the killer didn’t lag switch0

He should of just slugged you and got the kill on the hatch camper normally, it would be totally possible if he knew where the hatch was. I'm still happy that the survivor that sat on the hatch died though.

No matter how toxic someone plays, resorting to cheating is never the answer. He should just either slug him or facecamp him.
Cheaters need to be banned. You can't follow the rules when you feel like it.3 -
Unfortunately, the hatch mechanic during the PTB does not solve hatch camping. It's only meant to solve hatch stand-offs. A player is still going to be able to camp the hatch unless the killer decides they want to find the hatch first before one survivor remains. Nothing cringes me more than a hatch camper.

Playing selfish isn't forbidden.
Lagswitching is forbidden. The answer is obvious.
