When will the devs fix the matchmaking?

Do u guys need video proof that it takes HOURS to fill a single lobby? The matchmaking at Rank 1 was already CANCEROUS, but with this event i cant even find a word to describe it! PLEASE DO SOMETHING!
THIS IS THE WORST EVENT THAT I'VE EVER SEEN BECAUSE I CANT EVEN PARTICIPATE ON IT! #########!?
