Veterans are punished because they worked hard to acquire skills and worked hard to make them stand above the average player and instead of getting a high winrate as a reword they are likely going to get a slap in the face longer queue times and just to feel average again while only going against top tier killers, sounds like a good use of their thousands of hours

As far as we know, but I will trust it when I see it

I'm 21, I guess I've never known these honest debates, I'm kind of convinced that we slowly have less and less rights to say anything since ~= 2010.
But there are still some very interesting people out there we can have some very good debate / discussion with, without raging or disrespecting others in the end.

Don't worry with covid situation getting better i'm sure that a lot of veteran players won't be forced to stay home and play something that is not fun.
Bhvr had the upper hand till covid forced people to stay home and play the game, after that playercount will drop and sarcasm won't be possible anymore

Otz may not like to hear this, but a 50+ WinStreak is a failure in matchmaking, not proof of skill.

No, I disagree. There are some of us with experience who are not bad at the game, but not sweaty either. We are your Rank 3-6 survivors who do objectives and look out for teammates, but get screwed over by SBMM. We get toxic Rank 8 & below teammates who ragequit, farm in chase, and hide. Then we are expected to carry them vs. sweaty Rank 1 killers, or toxic Rank 12 campers and tunnelers- while the system attempts to “figure out” where you belong. Only for it to ignore the ragequitters from your last 3 games, and the tunneling camper from the first 2, to tell you that you “suck” and you belong here. “These are your correct peers.” ######### no! We don’t play like them! That is NOT fun.
All 3 SBMM tests went terrible for me. It felt like I was back in Beige & Green ranks. *shudders*

Wow, not competitive?! Funny, I played several years in COMPETITIONS with that game. It was a big ESports game in fact when it was relevant lol

I'm sure the ash IV killer i watched play against pug and marth in the same match loves the matchmaking. He had so much fun getting his almost 5k bloodpoints.
