Perk Build Central: Sneaky Escaping and Sneaky Killing
Hello, my friends from the fog, and today is another episode of Perk Build Central! Today I decided to play very sneaky, and today's builds for all of you will be around that. For the survivor side, it will be all about making that killer mad they can't find you, in and out of chase, and for killer it will be all about making the survivor scared to hell because you keep arriving out of nowhere, even as killers not made for it.
For survivor, this build is something I actually enjoy playing, and I will have two variations to it. The passive and aggressive stealth survivor. First, the passive. This involves Urban Evasion (Nea), Fixated (Nancy), Distortion (Sweet Jeff), and Lucky Break (Yui). This build is all about evading chase while still pressuring gens, or escaping a chase from some killer. Now just because you have Urban, it doesn't mean you should urban all around. Still sprint, still be a good teammate and still take aggro when needed. But this build allows you to stay undetected from the killer when necessary. Don't underestimate Fixated, it can catch even good killers off guard by the distance you can make. You can also replace Distortion with Iron Will. A little basic and that is why I went with distortion to hide from BBQ, but it helps while injured as well. The aggressive version is Quick and Quiet (Meghead), Fixated (Nancy), Deception (Élodie), and Flashbang (My lovely Leon). This one plays very similarly, but it is all about confusing the killer and stunning the killer allowing for escape.
Now for the killer. This build is one I enjoy on nonstealth characters, as it doesn't work with them the best, they are already very sneaky. The build consists of Hysteria (Nemesis), Dark Devotion (Plague), Furtive Chase (Ghostface), and Monitor and Abuse (Doctor). I know this build looks a little odd, and it is indeed a little weird. It is all about making the survivors very unsure about what you could be doing. With Furtive, you can counter the extra 8 meters Monitor gives you during a chase, and eventually your TR will feel all over the place for them. Combine with Dark Devotion, hit and run becomes very nice as survivors won't understand what you are doing. Hysteria is just another very nice addition. Having a lot of injured survivors and then hitting someone healthy just adds to this unsure aura around yourself.
These were just another set of fun builds, they aren't the most viable but again this series is all about trying fun things. As with each post remember, You don't have to win each match, and be the change you want to see!
