Lithe is underrated. Opinion

As a console player taking dead hard out the question I believe lithe to be a great perk I rarely see.the way I play I run alot when I know a killer is somewhere else so sprint burst limiting my run is a no go.head on is a cool perk but rarely are lockers a good play and are seldom used.

This is where lithe falls in my play style.in a loop the window or pallet vault is the make or break.in some loops after you vault a killer can just side step and slap you down not with lithe.lithe also let's you deceive them if combined with quick or quiet and/or dance with me.and windows of opportunity helps you know if you can elongate a chase making lithe awesome and utilizing a feature that is a fun part of dbd making builds.

Now I know how strong dead hard can be but I feel lithe can elongate enough chases and isn't nearly as cheap making lithe fun to use and not tilting.also I'm on console and dead hard freezes and I die

Only thing I don't like about it is the lore.how come a pro gamer like feng can go into a olympic vault sprint?I'm a pro gamer and I have gnome running speed

IDK what you are talking about Head-on. Head-on, Inner strength, Q&Q, Deception is probably one of theeeeee most fun survivor builds.

Dead hard is freezing most of the time yeah, that is why I said I replaced it with sprint burst.

    Bl->Balanced landing.

Sprint burst and balanced landing are not freezing. Dead hard and lithe are.

Same problem with Lithe as Balanced Landing: Some maps have more vaults/drops than other maps making the perk inconsistent.

Shelter woods has no drop points. Likewise, maps like Midwich have few vault points (besides pallets).

Lithe isn't an underrated perk, it's been known to be a powerful exhaustion perk. It might be underused, but it's definitely not underrated.

Feng & Tapp's perks are probably the most underrated in the entire game.

I like lithe but I see 2 problems with it

1: Often I could have used a vault several times before I have to run to another jungle gym. Lithe kind of forces me to use a vault and run to another jungle gym straight away.

2: Could be due to latency or the killer taking priority but I have a terrible habit of getting hit at window vaults no matter what. I've vaulted+lithed, taken 2 steps and I still got hit. It's like the kill cam on CoD. I run into a door way and take 3 steps in the room and die. The kill cam shows me dying as I got to the door way. What happened to those last 3 steps I took? Was it my imagination?

I don't like how Lithe basically forces you to move to another loop. Sometimes you can vault the shack window and you feel kind of forced to not waste it by running to a weaker loop. It's a good exhaustion perk, but just like Balanced Landing it's very inconsistent.

    Lithe is properly rated.

Trash. Can't extend loops, can't give you head starts. Can't do anything.

If you use it at a vault where you can get to a new loop. The killer will just drop the chase and your lithe was useless.

If you use it at an unsafe vault, the killer will more likely than not just catch up to you anyway.

Lithe is bad no matter what, doesn't even have meme potential like Head-On.

If you on console, just run Sprint Burst :/

Nah, I think Lithe is fairly rated overall. I've personally never enjoyed running it (BL and Head On have always been my two favorite exhaustion perks). Sure, it's great for allowing you to get out of so many situations, but I think Sprint Burst just does it better, while also not encouraging you to leave strong tiles as often without wasting your exhaustion if you manage it well. (For example, there are a ton of structures in the game where you can (and arguably should, depending on the circumstance) run a lot of Killers for a hot second if you play your windows well. (A great example of this being shack.) However, if you're running Lithe, when you vault the window for the first time, you feel like you're wasting your exhaustion if you don't make that distance, which can encourage you to leave a really good, safe tile for a bad/unsafe tile or even just a straight up deadzone.)

I always DH into a wall lol

I run Lithe on my standard build (Lithe/Q&Q/BT/WMI). I have been trying to engage more in chases, rescue/heal teammates and do some gens. That's usually more than enough for me for a fun match

Console player and Lithe has definitely improved my game, switched 4 years of dark sense for it. I'm not overly good and mind games or looping, my strategy is more run and gun and immersion so fast vaulting to get away works better for me.

    Good perk

"If you use it at a vault where you can get to a new loop. The killer will just drop the chase and your lithe was useless."

That's usually the intention. You want to escape the killer.

Unless you're that flashlight clicking survivor who refuses to touch gens.

You don't want to escape the killer though. Ideally you'd stay at a healthy range away from them but still occupying their time. You want to buy time so that your team can finish the generators.

Why would I trust one of the potatoes on my team to loop the killer for 5 hours when I can just do it myself?

Lithe doesn't do that, it either does nothing or ends the chase. If the chase ends, that is bad because you are now encouraging the killer to go after someone else and taking a gamble as to whether or not they're good enough to lose them or not get downed immediately.

Perhaps Lithe will be good in SBMM, but in this ranked matchmaking, Lithe is a risk not worth taking.

Depends on how you define underrated, its pretty universally considered the 3rd best exhaustion perk behind SB and DH, and with exhaustion perks being some of the best perks in the game I wouldn't say its underrated at all.

I love using lithe because I just fast vault into killer and Sprint away after stunning them which is risky thing to do because of enduring but it feels good lol

Agreed! I've switched DH to Lithe a long time ago and never looked back.

No most know it's a pretty good perk.

Lithe is pretty good but it has it's problems.

You have to use it is the worst part. You can have a strong loop where you could run the window several times but then have to either waste it or run to another loop that might not be as strong.

Still good though. Best has to be to use it with the dummy tech. Vault a pallet you just stunned the killer with and lithe to another loop. Either the killer breaks the pallet and you get insane distance or they chase after you and leave a pallet up for you to use later.

Just save yourself the embarresment and check for enduring first

You need unhooks and gens to pip. Not just the chase.
