A little blight help please
I dabble in Blight from time to time, and something survivors do to counter my rushes is run straight into me after a slam, usually resulting in me rushing, swinging, and missing. How can I prevent this strategy from working?

The quick way to counter this, is to not swing and instead try to bump into an object close by
Then you can use the 'slam' to re-direct yourself and get the hit
I see Blights do this a lot.

Ive tried it before, but all they have to do is book it around a corner

There's various ways to tackle it
Depending on the environment it's best to chase normally for a bit then use your power at an oppertune time
Part of Blight's learning curve is learning when to not use his power.

You can ways double tap. That's when you rush and swing at the same time. At the start of a Lethal Rush, Blight has a huge hit cone just to punish players trying that.

Yea, ive been trying to utilize his nutty hitbox but i cant ever get it to work. I remember a guide teaching about the 360 hitbox blight has at the beginning of his swing, but i havent been able to properly utilize it

It's not a full 360, you do have to sort of aim near them. If that's not working, what about waiting it out to see if they run away from your body and back I to your FoV? You don't have to Rush instantly.

Knowing that its not a full 360 actually helps alot, ill try your advice, thank you!

It’s best to be patient and try to M2-M1 when you are on top of them. You can use slam duration add ons if this is something you struggle with as well.
