Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

All outdoor maps need to be balanced like Ormond.

I both play killer and survivor pretty much on a regular basis and hold a steady rank one every month on both sides. But when it comes down to killer it’s pretty much a game over whenever Autohaven, McMillan estate is played. As long as you know how to loop properly on those maps with the multiple T-walls and jungle Jim’s literally being a foot across from one another it’s a gg no matter if you’re a good killer (unless you’re nurse or spirit) that’s just bullsh*t babying the survivors on the devs part. It’s all fun and games when I play survivor and know that silly killer will never catch me when I have my 1000 walls and pallets, but when I’m playing killer it’s a bit much knowing no matter how well you do you’ll either have to deal with a very powerful area with a pallet or a t-wall and if you do get lucky and get close to downing them only to be insulting with “dead hard” ruining a entire chase just for them to use to get to a pallet. That’s why I recommend all maps be balanced like Ormond. It’s the perfect amount of walls and open space for both killer and survivor to go either way. The center room isn’t op, the loops aren’t close together and that’s how I’d fix auto haven wreckers and McMillan estate.

I wouldn't even be mad. I more or less agree.

Are the devs truly capable of balancing?

I don't even think they know the meaning of it lol

Jk but in all seriousness, I'm sure there could be tweaks but they're not severely unbalanced like they used to be with more deadzones spawning, less pallets than there used to be, removing pretty much all infinites etc...

Once more I'll voice how I feel about people complaining about certain perks either side uses, just get on with it. They're in the game and that's that, unless you take the game beyond serious and competitively then I don't see the issue and if you do take the game like that. I don't understand why you do.

That's just my take, I respect others opinions that differ.

This threat will just get lost here. Maybe you should try to give them suggestions on the channel made for them, so that you will have your voice heard.

So you want all maps to have loops where the pallet is bigger than the loop itself just to bloodlust around because even if you stun the killer the next unsafe pallets is at least 20 meters away?

I think coal tower is a better example but ormond isn’t too bad anymore

  • Ormond is still an awful map, it's too big
