Tinkerer, Tracking or stealth

do you guys consider Tinkerer more as a tracking perk, or as a stealth/chase perk

It's for a project

Tracking to let the perk tell you what to do

Tracking. You could completely remove the undetectable and the pick rate of the perk would probably not even drop.

That's a really good question, I never really thought about it before. But if I had to say, I'd say I consider it a tracking/notification perk with a stealthy bonus.

Stealth all day. Allows me bolt over with Oni and scare the blood cells out of them.

This. If the perk just made you undetectable when a generator reached 70% progress without letting you know which generator, I doubt you'd see it used any more than monstrous shrine.

    Both.

It's a tracking perk but not a good one, its much better at catching unaware survivors and getting that "ohhh when's he gonna strike" kinda vibe when they figure out you're running it.

Unless you're on any outdoor map, in that case good luck.

It depends on what you use it for, I guess? On mobility killers? Tracking. On mostly everyone else? Stealth. On Pyramid Head? Both.

Information perk. It gives me information about the state of the generator. I specicify this because I think a tracking perk gives more information about the survivor(s).

    E.g

    BBQ, tracking perk.

    Thrilling Tremors, information perk.

Think about this way. What perk would be better, only being able to go undetectable when a gen goes to 70% without knowing which gen it is or being notified which gen is at 70% without the side effect of being undectetable? The first option sounds very niche and having to guess which gen it is but the second gives so much information and whether you have undetectable or not, you’ll still be able to scare the survivors off the gen.

    Tracking/info.

Simply tells you which gens you might lose, it gives you info from if you canr reach it to stop it, if it's an okay gen to lose or oh F I need to stop that gens or I lose.

Honestly it's not that great of a perk unless you're on a small map or have ruin up with mobility. Still any good survivors can just work on separate gens, he cant stop them all and chase.

    But 100% info perk.

Stealth is like a tiny bonus, which honestly most perks should have. They're perks, they're meant to be useful not multiple negatives for 1 positive or just overall crap

It's a tracking perk. That's clearly it's primary use, or else Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer/[Wraith/Spirit/Blight/Nurse] wouldn't be so complained about.
