De-grading in the grade system
I have seen people saying that you can loose lots of matches but still be in the same grade, i have been living under a rock for the lasts weeks so i have no idea wich speciffic changes they did.
So basically if i go ahead and play with a killer for doing the daily quests and loose horrible, i wouldn't have to go down from gold II to gold III or am i understanding this new system wrong?

Correct. Grades do not go down beyond a point.
You can lose pips towards the next grade but cannot lose the grade entirely, unlike ranks. If you are Gold III you cannot return to Gold IV, but can lose progress towards Gold II

The grade system also has nothing to do with who you're matched against, it's just a scale for a blood point reward on the 13th of each month.

i can go from iri1 to iri2 so that probably just means i cant go back to gold1

Yeah you can still drop from I to IV, but you can't lose your grade's color anymore. (Apparently this might be a bug?)
That gets a hard reset to ASH IV on the 13th each month.

Thanks for clearing this up. I was under the impression we could lose the pips we had let's say on iri 3 but could not drop to iri 4. So you can drop to level 4 of each color but never drop back to gold if you hit iri. Got it.
This helps a bit for finishing the month off right instead of loosing rewards on the last night.

I'm pretty sure it's confirmed that you cannot degrade, i don't really see why that would be a issue considering that grades don't serve any purpose other then BP at the end of the month but i think it was done to make losses hurt a little less
not that they hurt to begin with for me, seeing as i don't really care how my matches end 95% of the time, but hey, i'm not BHVR, so i don't know :/
