They're all so different. You can be a master at one killer and trash at another. They all need separate ranks

They all have separate MMR.
Rank or Grade has nothing to do with how good you are.
Killers share Grade because survivors share Grade. Otherwise you'd have to keep track of 27 different Grades and how would BHVR sort out the monthly rewards then? 10k BP per killer at top Grade?
