Will Adepts work the same as before?
Before SBMM I've been trying to achieve adept on every killer, and if I'm correct based on your rank you were given more strict requirements for adept. But now that ranks are now grades will this mean adepts will work the same since everyone gets reset to grade 20 or ash. Will this mean I can achieve adepts easier? I'm confused and hope some clarification can be made since I really want to 100% this game.

Adepts will work the same, the only difference is that now you will have an easier time after each 13th.

I was hoping this since I've been having such a hard time with piggy, ghostface, and hag! Can't wait to get these adepts!

Hag adept is always best against randoms. Third Seal works beautifully against them, almost a waste of a Perk slot against SWF though, sadly.
Might have to make plans to keep every 13th off, just so I can play against a wide variety of Killers as people go for Adepts after reset. Should be an interesting day or two.

I'm hoping since I've only played hag once that not only are the criteria easier but the players as well.

I'd recommend take a week or so off DbD after the 13th whenever you do these. If everyone gets their MMR back, if you wait a week most likely you'll get the "easier" Survivors. I k ow Im also going for all Adepts, my recent acquisitions were Adept Demo and Doctor

Best way to do Hag's is to let your totems go and don't camp hooks with traps. Once Devour procs your chaser emblem takes a huge hit and Third Seal can prevent high Devout because people tend to hit stage two or die on 2nd hook because of it. Best is to not worry about totems and trap common survivor paths and jungle gyms instead of trapping the hook.

It's going to be kinda hard for me to wait a week, but we'll see what happens. I'm excited to see how games will play none the less.

They definitely seem to work the same as before, had 3 games with 1 gold 3 iridescent before getting the adept. On the plus side since everyone goes to ash rank every month regardless of skill, you can do adepts when the merciless requirements aren't so strict.
I still think it's a little stupid that I can have a 12 hook 4k but I don't get adept because I didn't go easy on them and let them heal an extra 3 or 4 times unnecessarily, so the game thinks I "didn't chase enough."

Tonight I had a 12 hook minimal heal game as Pinhead but got ruthless because the last person opened the gate so I got gold gatekeeper and Iri everything else.

Luckily, this is what I had with a Hatch Escape, but I got the Adept due to Rank yesterday. Was a pain in the ass getting it, with all the disconnects, but definitely gave me more of a sense of his Power than using better Perks.
