Addons:

  • Candle (or Slab)
  • Crickets

Perk Pairing Ideas:

  • Hex: Plaything + Hex: Devour Hope (Jumpscare Pinhead)
  • Hoarder + Franklin's Demise ("Mom said it's my turn on the Rubik's cube!" Pinhead)
  • Hex: Plaything + Hex: Third Seal/Knockout(?) (Anti-Hud Pinhead)
  • Hex: Blood Favor/Spirit Fury + Coup de Grace (Anti-Pallet Pinhead)
  • Hex: Plaything + Hex: Thrill of The Hunt

Standalone Strong Perks:

  • Brutal Strength
  • Hex: Ruin

Chain aiming tips:

  1. If you have to turn the camera more than a little while the chain is active, you will likely be losing distance in chase. try to keep the distance between portal and survivor very close.
  2. Scouting is really easy. arcing over objects is unlikely to get you a ton of easy hits, but it'll extend your information.
  3. keep in mind you can use your chains to interrupt any action (as far as I can tell so far), and you regain your power quickly.
  4. if you think there's a survivor nearby a downed survivor, throw a portal on the other side of the nearest hiding spot. if you find them, they won't be able to go for the save in time.

side note: chain hunt happens quite quickly and applies a lot of pressure; especially while using timer reduction addons. if someone's trying to camp a loop while chain hunt's about to happen, stand in place and let them freak out, then try to swoop in for the hit.

    When lvling pinhead I got bamboozle early. I always consider that a great perk on a M1 killer.

    My first build ive unlocked with him so far has been starstruck, infectious fright, make your choice, and ive paired all that with deadlock.

    I think ruin could be strong with him if laired with deadlock and some addons that help increase chain hunts.

    Ive done pretty good with him except for on the game map where its pallet city and theres apparently unbreakable pallets (bugged pallets lol).

    Id like to try a chase oriented build with him too like STBFL, PWYF, brutal and bamboozle.

    I like the hex plaything and hex third seal pairing. Maybe with trail of torment and tinker or knockout it could be pretty evil.
