Lost just about everything
So I tried to play a few matches after work, only to find all of my killers and survivors have been reverted to level 1 and even lost all prestige levels. All I have left are cosmetics, currencies, and devotion. Is there anything I can do on my end? Or is the Entity just telling me I'm not welcome in the Fog anymore? Cause I really don't have it in me to start this game over from nothing. I'm on Xbox One X if that even matters.

I think the latest news update on the in-game menu has advice on a potential fix.

Pretty sure you can hit up the support and they'll take care of you. Toss in the screenshots, which characters did you prestige, all that good stuff and you're golden. The fact you're devotion 5 will help a lot I imagine. It is likely they'll shower you in Bloodpoints, as far as I asked that seems to be what happens most of the time.

Either type your username or copy paste your steam profile link. Then when it found you, click on your name on the left it should open a page like this :
Maybe your stats from before the lost of progress are still here. So take a screenshot so support can see the amount of progress you lost (like the amount of BP you earned)

Please note that we have our own system with regards to loss of progress and don't rely on 3rd party websites, also this website is not accurate.

If you contact support, you'll usually be given enough bp to max prestige the characters you lost progress on. Just be ready for hours of bloodweb grinding.

Thanks for all the quick feedback everyone. I've submitted the support ticket. I didn't know that this was something that happened enough for general community knowledge like this.
Didn't know that either. So does this mean I should go ahead and mourn my 150ish unspent Year 5 cakes?

Dbd onteh stats are generally ok, but they only track achievement-related stuff and on a limited time frame.
There's no better source of statistical data anyways, as far as I'm aware. Nothing to feel sorry for here.

Yeah, it doesn't feel good. I love the game to death, but if I had to start over from having no perks unlocked I'd probably move on too. I don't want to spend another two years or so just getting back to where I was. Especially on my Dwight. I had done so much item and addon stockpiling on him since he was the first survivor I prestiged to the max.

Not yet. But it's only been 24 hours or so. I hope they can do something though. No idea what caused this. If I have to earn enough bloodpoints to unlock all the teachables again then get them on all my characters again, that's gonna be rough.

Please don't advise someone to do that - it will mean that they will wait even longer for a response!
@Swimming_Bird I am sorry this has happened, but the only solution is to wait for Support to respond I'm afraid, it does take a little time, so you might need to wait a few days.
