How would that go down?

You could actually create your very own survivor. You could put youself in the game.

You've got games like GTA and WWE, which allow you to make your own character from stratch. It could work in DBD too.

BHVR could release clothing items and hairstyles etc which could be unlocked and purchased etc.

As long as the accessory parts didn't go too over the top, I think this would be a really fun addition to the game.

    Don't think this would work out well, and I don't think BHVR would want to spend the resources on this.

    I do not want that. We already have original characters and this game is very toxic as is, custom characters would allow for bullying in more ways than you expect.

    Eh I think I prefer characters as it is. You could identify them with their character names and such.

    Would be confusing to go "That random69character is doing x and y" in your head. Would mess with your game sense too if you can't accurately identify characters.

    I like having characters instead tbh. The lore is great and I like the variety

    Won't happen and SHOULDN'T happen.

    Main cuz DBD has a hard time already processing and loading preexisting assets for preexisting characters.


    If Create a Survivor happens, then that means more facial rigs & textures to load, more hair/body shape/skin color to take into account when the game begins and times that by 4 for each Survivor player.

    This will not only cause more lags than there is, but also make BHVR want to pull their eyes out to optimise to the new settings.
