How did the pumpkins get there?

Were they lovingly (hatefully) carved out by the entity, or did it take the existing pumpkins from lampkin lane and duplicate those?

    You're thinking about it waaaay too much. 
    To me it's just a Halloween event decoration. Nothing lore related.

    Like everything else, it's just an extension of the Entity.
