Survivor Perk Idea: Selfless Gift (Killer Idea Below)
You have grown to care for your fellow survivors and are willing to sacrifice to help them survive. When you heal another survivor to a new health state, grant them the Endurance status effect in exchange for giving yourself the Exposed status effect. Lasts 30/45/60 seconds.
If the protected survivor takes a hit, you will enter the injured state, and your location is revealed to the killer.
- You may only protect one survivor at a time.
Some notes and restrictions.
- Selfless Gift is used when you heal a survivor to a new health state (dying to injured or injured to healthy). When the healing is finished, the perk will darken.
- If the protected survivor is hit, and you are already in the injured state, you will not be put in the dying state, but your location will still be revealed.
- Endurance and Exposed status effects both last the same duration.
- Endurance and Exposed status effects end when the time expires.
- Endurance and Exposed status effects end when either survivor is hit.
- When healthy, being hit with a double damage attack while protected will put them into the injured state.
- When injured or Broken, being hit with a double damage attack while protected will put them into the dying state.
- When the protection ends, the perk will light up again.
- Selfless Gift cannot be used on yourself (hence the name).
- Selfless Gift cannot be used on others with Selfless Gift.
- Selfless Gift cannot be used on a survivor that is already protected (does not stack).
NEW SECTION - Killer Perk: Cursed Blade
Your weapon injects a venom into your prey that has infects the survivor for 60 seconds. If the hit survivor is not healed in time, they will scream, revealing their location to the killer, and suffer from the Broken status effect for 40/50/60 seconds. If the hit survivor is healed in time, they will scream and reveal their location to the killer, but they do not suffer from any effects. Instead, the healer suffers from the Exposed status effect for 40/50/60 seconds. Only one survivor may be poisoned at a time.
Some notes and restrictions
- Multiple survivors can heal the infected survivor, but the Exposed status effect will be divided among them. 2 survivors healing will be Exposed for 20/25/30 seconds. 3 survivors healing will be Exposed for 14/17/20 seconds.
- The screaming happens because either 1) they are not healed, and the venom burns them, not allowing them to be healed, or 2) the venom is passed on to the healer.
- Healing yourself will cause yourself to be Exposed.

I'm hoping to get feedback to refine it and think of a similar killer perk before I put it in the Wishlist category. I don't have time right now to think of the killer perk, but everyone is welcome to make suggestions.

I assume the effects won't stack if you heal before the effects are over.

Sounds super cool but I think it should only be one use and you need to activate it when healing to use it. I think unlimited use is too powerful and would be extremely frustrating for the killer. Especially when it's end game, you know the survivor who used the perk will be sitting at the exit gate teabagging.1

Injured to healty? Isn't that redundant?0

That would make sure it is very limited, especially since you can only have one token at a time. Additionally, entering the Exit Gates would cause the protection to wear off after 5 seconds (giving them enough time to enter and cross the barrier), since you shouldn't need protection at that point.

Injured to healty? Isn't that redundant? It's just one of two conditions that allows the perk to trigger. Picking up a survivor off the ground will trigger it, and so will a full heal. I don't think the insta-heal add-ons should trigger it.

Okay, and now some ideas for the killer perk. I am thinking it would be similar in concept to Make Your Choice, except with healing.
It would be called Cursed Blade, where once the survivor is hit, there would be a 60-second trigger time. Within that 60 seconds, the survivor that heals the hit survivor becomes Exposed for 40/50/60 seconds. Multiple survivors healing them would have the effects divided among them (2 survivors healing - 20/25/30 seconds, 3 survivors - 14/17/20 seconds). The person hit does not know they are cursed. Exposed status effect triggers when the healing is complete. Only affects one survivor at a time).
More information has been added to the original post for the killer perk.
