What's more annoying as a Solo Survivor? Self Care or NOED?

Yes, if it wasn't very obvious, I keep running into players who think they need to self care every single time they get injured.

I do think that you can make a case for either perk to be annoying to face as a solo queue survivor but good ######### god, at least with NOED I know it's my fault for not doing totems or looking for them. With Self Care I have absolutely no control over it and how people use it.

I just wish people would stop using this god forsaken garbage perk that makes us lose games.

STOP SELF CARING IN FRONT OF THE KILLER CLAUDETTE, YOU'RE GETTING YOURSELF KILLED AND I HAVE LITERALLY NO WAY OF SAVING YOU RIGHT NOW!

I don't care if someone Self-Cares, nor do I really care if a killer runs NOED. It's always pretty obvious when either one is being used before it even comes into play.

The only thing I dislike is when other players assume I'm running Self-Care and hang me out to dry lol I've been running Pharmacy on Steve and that's at least helped out quite a bit.

NOED of course. Self-Care is a good perk.

In no world is self care a good perk. In every single game I'm playing right now every single time everyone but me uses self care the entire team falls apart.

Sure it is. You are healing yourself at half speed, but allowing other survivors that would have to heal you do whatever else. If an entire team is injured versus a camping killer and there’s no Self-Care or other healing abilities, have fun!

if you seriously need self care to deal with a camping killer, then I'm sorrt you have not heard of a perk called Borrowed Time.

My last game against Blight is a good example for this. One Gen was left. I start to repair it. 20 seconds later comes a injured Claudette to me. I moved away from the gen to heal but she used her Self Care. I used the gesture and pointed to the gen but Claudette liked to Self Care.

Maybe with two on the gens we won but Self Care destroy it 🙆‍♀️.

I also don't like this survivors who walk to the furthest corner of the map to use Self Care. But I bet everyone already read such story's.

So Self Care is the most annoying Perk for me. I don't have anything against the "good" perk users. But I hate the others...

Self care IMO as a solo q. At least noed means we got gens done and can get out.

Self carers means we probably won't get the gens done.

I find self care more annoying. Especially when people insist on using it when I could heal them quicker. Also, the Lack of common sense with it too. There seems to be a massive increase of people who decide to self heal, or expect you to heal them right at the hook, as soon as you unhook them then the killer comes back, downs and hooks again. It's infuriating.

NOED is pointless against Solo players imo if you go in assuming every killer has it. It's an unspoken rule now that you 99% the gates so if the EGC isn't a factor you just keep far away from whoever was downed to activate it for a minute so it wears off.

Try again, BT prevents tunneling and won’t help you reach a hooked survivor if you’re injured.

Then heal each other. The Killer is most likely never going to camp when there are still generators to protect.

And if they do, they're ######### themselves over for only ONE KILL.

I play solo-queue a lot, Self-Care is more annoying because at least with NOED you can prevent it.

Healing myself with Self-Care prevents me from needing to find another survivor or item to heal me, especially in solo queue matches where I don’t always have the benefit of coordination. It takes just as much time for two survivors to heal each other as each using Self-Care, unless other healing perks or items are in play.

If Kindred is in play, I can see the other survivors are farther away on gens. I can go for a safe unhook healthy if needed with Self-Care, while they continue their work.

Kindred or Bond is better I think. But everyone knows how perks work.

Self care. Especially when the killer is running sloppy butcher.

Don't find either one annoying, but since i'm the one using Self Care i gotta say H: NOED.

    Self care definitely.

If you're running information perks and just see people healing up after every sloppy butcher hit, etc. You'll lose faith in humanity.

    Noed

I'd say about 70 percent of my solo games I slap on self-care. Nothing more annoying than knowing the killer is across map and the person who saved you won't heal.... So you follow them, they keep running (not to a gen) just away... Not looking behind them.. You could've healed twice by now. They're hiding because they heard a sliver of the TR. Please. Heal. Me. You cry out. Endgame is coming, just a couple more gens. You give up, and jump on a gen, you're in a dead zone. Hope Mr killer doesn't come here. Meg, the one who saved you jumps on the gen, one last attempt. I butt dance next to her, and slap her butt.... Nothing. Then she blows the gen and runs. Killer sees us, smart move go for the injured. I barely make it out of the deadzones with my SB but the loop I get to doesn't have a pallet. All I can do is spin or die. I die. *Clutches fists* IF ONLY I HAD BEEN HEALED.

Anyways while what you explained is annoying, so is mine. I'd prefer to have the option to heal if I can't find anyone but also if no one is willing to heal me.

Urban evasion. Self Care I don't actively see since they do it away from me, and NOED is fun cause it adds a little bit of excitement and scare to this game that I normally don't feel. But if one more Nea crouch walks up to the gen from halfway across the map I will lose my mind.

Im in the small camp that thinks noed is fine... but I usually have Detective's on ^^

    As for self care I only find it annoying when I unhook someone and they proceed to run to the corner of the map to self heal instead of let me heal them... with we'll make it. So painful ;_;

NOED. Self Care is a fine perk and it isn't even remotely a problem.
