Man, what is going on with these killer queue times?

I know a new chapter recently came out so a lot of people are rushing to play Pinhead, but my queue times are worse now than the day the chapter came out. I've tried killers who I know I have average MMR with, and killers who I know I have high MMR with (blight, who I've probably gotten 1 exit gate escape with out of 50 matches), and still I'll wait 20+ minutes with no match during the day.
During the evening it's a bit better, the queues are only ~5 minutes, but why is that? Do all the gremlin survivor players get on at night, or is it some matchmaking bug?

I just made a post about this but I'm not high mmr. I'm a average killer and my q times are 10+. I don't see pinhead often when I play survivor so I don't think its the new killer thing.
