It's kind of counter intuitive to conceal mmr.
I'd like to see who I am going up against. I can't tell my mmr or others to compare. Considering I went from rank 12 to Rank 6 with 17 4ks in a row from multiple killers I think the mmr is not building on killer relative skill. There's no smell amount giving you a boost on killers you don't play often so you aren't playing against babies. I play against babies as survivor. In fact , some if them may not be babies, maybe just a bad day. Anyways, I feel as if mmr is a lop sided way of making matchmaking better.
While it is faster , there is the likelihood of deranking mmr and mmr putting you I'm unfair situations. Mmr reintroduced the fact that as survivor the survivors are bad but as killer the survivors are good. Mmr has a few problems to be fixed.
I'm all for grades, I like it better than the old ranks, as old ranks filled their job but left big room for deranking and unfair situations. This can be stopped with mmr, but a lot of people aren't liking mmr in its current state,, and that's understandable. I want mmr to become a part of dbd , but it can use a bit of developing.

Not to mention, there can also be a place for ranked and casual mode.
