But it's only in the lobby, right? When you're in the game, they don't have the skins, right? It's a hilarious new bug that makes it so each survivor in the lobby shows whatever cosmetics YOU have set up on that same survivor.

Serious answer: Known bug, reported by myself and others in the bug section. The lobby shows other players' characters as having whatever cosmetics you happen to have equipped on yours, even if you're not using those characters at that time. During the match you see what the players' characters actually look like. The bug was introduced in the latest patch.

EDIT: I first noticed this when Claire, Jonathan, mechanic David and a unique combination of Meg clothes I never saw on anyone else suddenly started showing up a lot. Then in a two-Nancy lobby the third player also switched to Nancy, and I thought "wow, they're all the Nancy in the red jacket too, well now I have to switch to mine". I finally realized that this was an actual glitch when, during the match, I was the only Nancy who stood out as different from the three default striped shirt ones. Whoops.

Yah its kinda fun to play with and doesn't effect gameplay. Started making my friends characters look silly while waiting for a match to pas the time and see who could make the funniest looking ones

yes this is a known bug, we've had a few bug reports in on it. It's definitely a weird one for me tho.
