How to use Corrupt Intervention effectively?

Do you go to the blocked gens at the start of the match, do you just stay patrolling the gens that aren't blocked...

What is the best way to use this perk?

Patrol the 4 generators that aren't blocked, or if you got a bad split then find a 3gen and lock it down. Corrupt works best as an area denial perk more than a slowdown perk. It makes the map about half of it's size for the duration.

I learn spawns and look for crows and scratch marks from the middle of the map.

I generally find survivor's will spawn near corrupt, tend to catch one or two people running from those gen's blocked. On a non mobility killer, this is probably the better option for early pressure. Rather than paroling the one's that aren't blocked for the first 60 seconds or so.

They usually spawn around the blocked gens. And the block is really long. So I guess you could get away with waiting for them to come to you, but I find they typically do totems early game once they see corrupt. So I treat it as Lethal Pursuer plus.

Try not to chase around the blocked gens area, put the pressure on the unblocked gens

If you get good spawn and corrupt blocks gens furthest away from you, then go to them because survivors spawn on them and you have high chance to meet someone who is moving towards unblocked gens from there.

At least I do it like that. Usually works
