Has anyone else experienced extremely sensitive ps5 controls?

I'm having this issue on ps5 where, on dead by daylight specifically, the triggers are so sensitive I sometimes swing as killer without pressing the trigger. Sometimes I will not have my finger on the trigger at all and I will randomly swing. The triggers can be so sensitive that touching the bottom side of the trigger will initiate a swing as well. This issue has lost me many matches and I'm trying to see if it's dbd only or if it's something with the controller itself somehow. There is no way to adjust the sensitivity in-game so this is a problem I need to solve.

i've had an incident when i've accidentally channeled my plague vomit a few times when my finger was resting on the bottom of L2.

i just kinda assume it's because i accidentally pushed it down or something. sometimes it felt as if i pushed it up and the power still channeled. i might have also accidentally swung for the same reason.

i dont think ive had anything that genuinely seemed off happen though.
