When can we expect the Xbox fix?
I don't know if this happened on Friday night, or Sunday morning, but the queue times on series X are unbearable.
Killer queues were already long, but I can be waiting for over 20 mins to find a game.
Despite this massive shortage of next gen consoles, even after being out for a whole year almost, it still feels like no one fricking has one.

My queue times have been fine but I'm also almost certain I have been transported into the Baby Survivor Queue instead...
I had someone trying to heal me yesterday who failed three skill checks in a row before I finally pointed away from me and walked away. How do you fail three skill checks in a row? A toddler chewing on the controller would manage to hit one of them!!!
Had everyone else not been so damn bad too, I'd have assumed that survivor was straight up just trolling and throwing the match but no one on that team had any idea what they were doing...

the thing with xbox, is that you guys got the 5.2.2 update sooner than everyone else (blame microsoft), so you can't play on crossplay. should fix itself when everyone else gets the update

Please stop with the blame microsoft - developers push the patches and set the dates.

Updates and patches are usually on Tuesdays so it’s likely getting fixed tomorrow.. Though no official date was confirmed..

and for some reason... behaviour changed the date to "not tuesday", which is the day it always happens in because it allows then to work on things during the week.
but only changed on xbox. because the xbox update needed to be sooner for some reason...
just going by occam's here mate.

Not sure what you are saying. The developer literally types in the date a patch goes live when th3y publish to consoles. They have to it manually for each platform - PS4, PS5, Xbox OG, SX. Someone screwed up during entering. Is it that hard to understand?

Yes but they’ve still sold millions of units, there are plenty of dbd users on series x.

It's been very strange because everyone with the Xbox Series X/S here seems to be having all kinds of problems with getting games where queue has been instant (for survivor at least, I haven't actually tried killer as I've been having issues unrelated to the game so I've wanted the much more relaxed survivor game rather than trying to do killer games)
I'm playing with no one but Xbox Series X/S as well but maybe I'm just lucky with my location or something as I would expect to have the same issues as everyone else given the very limited next-gen supply but for whatever reason I'm not.

Could be for me too, my survivor queues are decently ok, but my god the killer queues on my mains like Oni? Took 20 minutes to find a match today.

Hard to say for sure. I have a ton of hours as well (actually, I can grab the exact for funsy! According to my Xbox, I have 71 Days, 20 Hours, and 47 Minutes) so I'm not sure that's the issue either.
Although maybe it's just killer side. Normally right now throughout the night it would be instant queue. I've only waited two minutes so far but that is way longer than it normally would be. We'll see how long this ultimately takes but I have a feeling that it's going to be the long wait I have been hearing on here...
EDIT: Yup, must be killer. I'm at the five minute mark now. I'd keep waiting For Science but...I don't wanna :D

Well I just sat for 15 minutes as survivor and now just joined a lobby with a killer and nobody else. Just.. Waiting. Oh now, I have two.

Huh...very strange
Either way it's a mess that hopefully will be fixed tomorrow (since presumably this should be the hotfix patch that we normally see dropped on Tuesdays, it was just early for Series X/S users for some reason)
