Why were reverse stuns removed?

Pulling off a reverse stun required a decent amount of skill, and it was a really cool trick to do. Unless I'm missing something, we haven't heard anything from the devs about why they were removed from the game. What's the reason behind it?

Because it took advantage of the hit validation. If killers have their exploits fixed so should survivors.

Too bad it broke power struggle. That perk was already terrible

An unfortunate side effect, like how fixing the j-flick gave rise to z-flicks. Hopefully Power Struggle gets fixed soon.

Made survivors invincible at pallets. I just got validated 5 times against a console survivor with 100 ping vs my 18 ping. How is their trash ping my problem and why am i being punished for it? Imagine that while being able to just drop the pallet on the same side and still stun the killer.

Devs hate fun.

I'm not complaining, that perk was a step in the wrong direction. The last thing we need is to shovel more paranoia on the stress role.
As for reverse pallet stuns... I am still forced to run Enduring thanks to the last validation update. If the Devs want to roll the whole pallet-validation thing back, I'm game.

Yeah I’m not a fan of the idea but the fact that an already terrible perk is now unusable is pretty bad especially when there is a challenge based on it in the tome
1 -
Wait, there is? Wow, talk about dumb challenges. If one can't even be completed because the perk doesn't function, that's just embarrassing.
2 -
It can be completed- just need to stun a killer while they're holding a survivor. Just not in the intentional way.

Well the challenge says you have to stun a killer while he is carrying a survivor so it doesn’t necessarily have to be power struggle itself but it’s still dumb.
Itks like the way clown has a direct hit challenge when direct hits still don’t slow survivors

Ah, so it's ambiguously worded so as to not force people to run Power Struggle/Flip Flop for like 700 trials while paranoid killers stare at every survivor lying under a pallet until they bleed out.
Which explains a recent experience of mine involving a SWF team that wouodnt pick up their teammates. Perhaps I should pay more attention to the archives...

It's not even really removed, I've still seen reverse stuns happen, and they seem even worse than before in that it teleports the Killer to the other side of the pallet.

How was that a "cool trick" ? As from a killer point of view it was just stupid to get robbed a guranteed hit and even get stunned. We already have to deal with palett campers and fake hits through paletts, so i am more than glad that atleast this dumb "tech" is fixed. Why should the dev's bring something back that was definitely not meant to be in the game at the first place.
And powerstruggle is not useless. I still see people make good use of that perk.

Reverse stuns are gone? Ah, that is sad.
I actually liked them. They were a nice little trick, that had been in the game for quite a long time.

Now they just need to remove that gimmicky 360 crap then we all good. It ain't cool when I get dizzy cause I don't wanna miss.

Literally just stand still or back up. Stop complaining.
2 -
The perk at a minimum requires 2 other perks to get any use out of it, it never was a serious problem for killer.

Probably part of the new hit validation process

It makes no sense when it happend if the killer was in between you and the pallet how did you pull it down with out phasing through the killer. And if you are in between the killer and the pallet why would the killer be stunned?
